Wonderful place

This house is situated in the newly bustling historic downtown Hattiesburg and is situated a short walk from all of the new downtown amenities. The owner was most friendly during our stay (two nights) and the rooms were fabulous. The house has really been preserved well and my wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay. Oh, the food was excellent - nothing microwaved here but prepared from scratch and wonderful. The rates are very, very acceptable. Being that I've lived in Hattiesburg before, I can easily say that this is the place to visit if you are coming out of town. The owner also knows what to do in town and will easily tell you the best things to do. 5 stars.

The best place in Hattiesburg

My wife and I had a great experience at the Dunn House. It was located on a road full of beautiful old houses and has been taken very well care of. We especially enjoyed our room with it's huge bay windows and the antique sitting sofa next to it. It also is large enough so that you feel that you have some privacy. The breakfasts were wonderfully prepared and were quite enjoyable. It is also very close to a booming part of downtown that you could easily walk to. I've been away from Hattiesburg, a town which I have lived in for several years, and confidently able to say that this is the place to stay if you are traveling there. We can't wait until we visit again!
