Sea Ranch Motel, Carolina Beach

Everyone wants to know what's the cons of the place.. this is the only things I can say so far that's not good. The shower is very, very small, my face is at the shower head and i'm 5' 6". The pool closes at 9 pm which is a bummer b.c we like to swim in the pools at night. The carpets look very clean, however i've never seen a carpet that was clean, I think it could use a good shampooing.. So there's all the negatives... The positives, the rooms are huge in size, very spacious for me, my husband and my daughter, rocking chairs are great, oceanfront is great... theres 3 levels here, we are on the middle one.. wouldn't want to be an oceanfront room on the first floor. I think all you would see would be the sand dunes. Love how your vehicle is just right out the door... Ac works great, nice kitchen area and large refrig. beds are clean..... the long haired lady in the office is very nice, she takes the time to talk to you and tell you about the places in the area. She told us to visit Independence mall, loved it! One of the cleanest malls i've ever been in. Would we stay here again..... yes if the shower was bigger, that is the biggest downfall to me. Would reccomend to others as long as you can handle the petite shower!! Hope this helps!!! Carolina beach itself is awesome, great for family, not trashy!!!

We stayed at the Sea Ranch for the second time last year and can't imagine staying anywhere else. My family and I have never been disappointed by our room or the service we have received. Our best vacations have been at Carolina Beach and The Sea Ranch and we are so looking forward to this year's trip. It's a long drive from Tennessee but well worth the welcome we receive at the Sea Ranch. Can't wait to get there!

The Sea Ranch Is the only hotel My husband and I will stay in. We love it there, the people there always make us feel welcome,and safe. The pool is wonderful! We stay there every yr . It is so laid back. If you havent been there before I highly suggest giving them a try!

We stayed in an ocean front room. The funishings were a little outdated by about 30 years. The air conditioner is a window unit. The balcony is not private, as in if anyone else is out on their balcony they can see and hear your conversation. I did love the rocking chairs on the balcony. I loved that there are two separate pools. The kids pool has a slide and the adult pool has to be unlocked by a key. Kids are allowed at the adult pool, but we pretty much had it to ourselves the whole week. The price is the best!! It was clean. It is in a good location, laundry mat is open 24 hrs. and just down the street.

Went down for a little get away and once again the Sea Ranch Motel was great very peaceful and relaxing thanks again. Sandy thank-you so much your wonderful c ya soon Mike and Alisha

The wife and I stayed for the 4th of July and it was the first time at that hotel it was wonderful the staff was very friendly the room was clean the pool was clean everything was great we will go back. Also the hotel was very relaxing, quite, and peaceful didn't here a peep out of any of the other guest. THANK-YOU SEA RANCH

I called to make reservations for Friday July 2nd for just one night. The lady I spoke with was very nice and I explained to her I only needed one night, She was very apologetic and it does clearly state on their website the holiday minimuns. She told me to call back the night before and if they are any openings they would see if they could let me have it for one night. Good customer service, understanding and politeness. Even if they can't accomodate me I will stay in the future.

So I just called to make reservations for this Saturday night as a surprise birthday gift for my mother and they DO NOT make reservations for one night stays. So what happens if we get down there and they don't have a room that can accommodate all of us? I think the 3 night minimum for reservations is bad business! Real working people may not have that glory of staying 3 nights! Well, they just lost that sell. They can say goodbye to my $150.00!!! I have never stayed there and I do not have any desire to now.

What not to love? get spot on Carolina Beach , clean rooms, nice pools, friendly staff, no frills, just a good old place to stay & have a relaxing time @ the beach.If your looking for a cool place to stay & not a frilly resort at reasonable prices then this is it! see ya next time!!

Me & my boyfriend & kids stay here and loved it. Cant wait to come back here. Perfect location. Staff wonderful....... Sandy front clerk wonderful, friendly, helpful, love her. Judy r housekeeper was wonderful. Pools r wonderful and the view from r room was priceless. :) c u next summer.
