Nice New Hotel, A Few Inconviences

We loved the fact that this was a brand new hotel. The room was nicely appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. The complimentary high-speed internet was a nice bonus.
The hotel should be commended on their extremely clean, nicely appointed and spacious rooms.
What we didn't care for was the $179/night rate that did not include the additional $9 per night parking charge. Breakfast was also not included, although kids did eat free with an adult.
While the hotel was brand new, I am not sure it was very well made. The walls seemed rather thin and you could hear quite a bit of noise from the surrounding rooms. Likewise, you could hear the people above you walking around.
My least favorite aspect of this hotel was the extremely soft water. Taking a shower or washing up was very difficult since you felt you couldn't get the soap or shampoo completely rinsed off. It sounds like a minor inconvenience, but in reality this was extremely uncomfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even arranged for us to have a room with a view of the fireworks. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were!
We ordered dinner from the on-site Pannini Grill which was pretty good, although a bit pricey.
Overall, with the exception of the water issue, it was a nice stay. The on-site market was very convenient.
