Palomar Inn, Chula Vista

Clean, all-white bedding. A wonderful find for any traveler, or vacation spot. The staff were so nice and wonderful, the rooms are outstanding,will be staying here from now on.

The customer service attitude was fine, but the place was so dirty! You get less than what you pay for. Would not recommend and will not return.

Oct. 2008 and Jan 2009.....The empoyees are always cheerfull and answered our questions. Rooms were always clean and when need more of towels or soap what may have been the help were very kind and replenished our need supplies. thank you alot Palomar Inn and staff...Mr. and Mrs. Beal

Perhaps the linen was clean but the rooms had grime on cabinets and bathroom tile. It was really gross. The small room was crowded with furniture to turn it into a suite, a nightstand was removed and replaced with a ripped loveseat. Classified as Mini-Suite, yes it was mini, and it was not suite! Also, tried to get credit for checking out early and clerk stated flatly he could not do it, UNTIL another guest walked into the lobby. Clerk immediately changed his tune but I still had to insist he give me my copy of the credit receipt.

My visit was in August 08. I was visiting from Australia and wanted to say close to friends in Chula Vista. The hotel was a true rare find. I spent 4 days here and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Conveniently located close to shops and transport. I love every minute of it and would not hesitate to stay there again when I return. Thanks for getting my vacation to the US off to the best start.

The Palomar inn used to be a Holiday Inn, it has since gotten a new name, but the same great service. I had to travel from Texas to Washington state, and during that trek I only stayed at Holiday Inns. Except this time, it was the Palomar inn, and if anyone has ever been somewhere where it feels like home, then the Palomar inn is it. Having lived in San Diego for years, and now just visiting you can't beat the value for what you get. No slow OMG I can't even check my email internet speeds, and all the premium channels to watch, it is a true value for the San Diego area. I would highly recommend the Palomar inn to any traveler who wants to get what you pay for; great service, clean room, and a surplus of amenities. x Stan

This hotel was excellent. They went out of their way in every way to make the experience the best it could be. We met our tour here and it was just the best of the best. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, everything worked, very friendly helpful staff and good food. We would stay here anytime and recommend to everyone.

I was really surprised when I stayed at Palomar Inn Chula Vista, since it was completely quite, really nice and clean room. I certainly like this motel over any neighborhood franchise motels in Chula Vista where I stayed in the past.It was really best value for my money.

I stayed on April 30th this year. My main concern was to have a really fast internet for doing my work. I was extremely happy when I got a really fast internet with a big cozy room 203. More to the king bed, desk/chair plus small sitting area of pullout sofa-- is a nice combination. The room was very very clean. I shall certainly go back every time I am in San Diego.

I usually stay in a franchise motels only. Because of Palomar Inn's great location on the freeway 5, I stayed one night, when I was in San Diego area. I was really impressed by the very professionally run this non-franchise independent motel. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very very comfortable.I did not miss any franchise services. Thanks to 24 hr. front-desk and open lobby with fresh coffee. Excellent motel in Chula Vista.
