Holiday Inn Express Madison Square Garden, New York

My husband and I along with my children and their families stayed at this wonderful little gem the weekend of June 20th, 2009. We had three rooms, all of them slightly different, but all equally satisfactory. Room with king bed and walk through spa tub was a special treat for my son and daughter-in-law. Room with two double beds was slightly larger and worked perfectly for my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren. Our room with a king bed was located on a corner and was slightly smaller with an awkward bathroom layout, but just fine for the two of us. Benefits of this property are: good location, nicely equipment rooms with ironing boards, irons, hair dryers, self-closing toilet seats, great shower heads, granite countertops, comfortable beds with nice linens and best of all, the place was spotless...did I mention it was clean. Staff was very pleasant and wanting to please, breakfast buffet was a convenient start to the day, especially with children. Buffet and seating area is congested, but it was raining and outside area was not available. All in all, this place is the perfect, reasonable, clean and pleasant place to stay in New York and when we go back...it is where we will be staying.
