I followed my insticts and some traveler opinions and was not dissapointed with this hotel. The attention to detal shows everywhere. This is a family owned rodeside motel that actually should qualify as a boitique hotel. From the grounds to the rooms evrything is spotless. With the beds sooo comfy I actually slept longer than I have in quite some time. They go the extra step with a light serving of fresh fruit yogurt and juice in the lobby. Loved the Miramar Inn

I was looking at various hotels near the San Clemente when I found many positive reviews for this place. After staying there for 4 nights, I fully understand why it deserves such reviews. Hotel Miramar is a building of about 15 rooms with a private parking lot that is open to the street. The owner asks for all your car info when you check in, since it is a small lot that is only for guests. The room was comfortable and clean, with a large bed, air conditioner, micro fridge, Safe for your valuables, Coffee maker, walk in closet, flat screen TV, and free wireless internet , and morning breakfast - everything you need when traveling and then some. It's a short drive or bus ride away from the beach. I definitely wouldn't mind staying there again, considering how great the price and room is. I recommend Hotel Miramar for travelers on a budget who want something a little nicer than a hostel or a big chain hotel. The stand up shower was kind of cool because it has a fine mist like spray that makes you feel like you're in the rain forest!
