Hotel Villa Elda, Siena

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Elda for 8 nights with our 15 year old daughter. We all loved it! The hotel is beautifully restored, with high ceilings, tall windows - light and bright decor, extremely clean. Our room was the panoramic junior suite, on the third floor, with 4 large french windows overlooking the old city and breakfast terrace. The bathroom is marble, quite modern, good sized shower, towel warmer. Ten minute walk to the city center, very quiet residential neighborhood. The smell of baking bread at 7 am is amazing. The staff are even more so. The owner/manager was tremendously helpful - even lent us her bicycles! Outstanding service is clearly a priority - all staff members were consistently cheerful and accomodating. Our stay was very memorable. We will return!
