Boracays Finest(So Far...)
My family went there last October and it was the best 3days and 2 nights we had in Boracay(so far...). First thing we noticed is the spedy yet elegant Boat Ride of Discovery Shores. Included with air-con,flat tv,drinks and cookies. Its supposed to be the Ferrarri of Boracay's Boat Rides. Once you set put on Boracay, a Toyota Avanza will serve as your carriage. Upon arrival at Discovery Shores, a shot of welcome drink is given. Next thing that caught our attention was the Studio Suite me, my wife and my daughter stepped into. Two Queen-Sized Beds conjoined together with the comfiest pillows and comforters just could not get any better. It was the perfect centerpiece in the well-designed and spacious Suite. A fresh fruit platter is included and a jar of fresh cookies goes with it. My baby girl had several cookies throughout the stay, its bottomless! Flat TV, DVD, IPOD Dock, Alarm Clock,Coffee Maker,Hair-Dryer, Mini Ref, and Electronic Safe make up the Suites electronics. Evening Desserts and a Bottle of Wine is complimentary on your stay in Discovery Shores. Pool is terrific, large enough for most guests. Jacuzzi is a bit small but at least its heated all day...You can see all this from your terrace, every room has a view hehehe. The resort's buffet breakfast is terrific and good thing its paid for already together with the room rates. Check out the bar and resto especially at night since they get to be very romantic...Swims at the beach are great especially when you get served with snacks and juice by the buttlers. No need to bring your towel too,you get that handed to you everytime anyways... A Library is open for guests who want to read a little and surf a little. A kiddie romm is also very popular for guests with children. And a very chic game room with Billiards Table is also available. All of these ammenities are first class and the staff are very friendly, even knowing you by name. They even take your picture together before you leave and print it out like postcards. And the best treat the resort has to offer is Mandala Spa! Try it and you'll love it. You will feel rejuvenated unlike other massages that only stress your muscles. We had the Hilot Trilogy and it surely made our trip...It was the most serene 2 hours and 45 mins of our young lives(so far...). It kicks off with a very gentle food massage and is followed by the heated leaves massage. I think they also used drinking glasses afterwards in our backs. It was supposed to suck away the pain hehehe...All these give your body a new and recharged feeling. Its like being reborn but even better...Try
