Boardwalk Beach Resort Convention Center and Hotel, Panama City Beach

The mattresses were all ripped and the bathroom was dirty. The hair dryer did not work. There was partying going on at all hours of the nite, yelling etc. We were there for three nites and the room never got cleaned nor the sheets changed nor towels exchanged the whole time we were there. We had to go ask for clean towels at the desk and inform them that the room had not been cleaned. I would not recommend for anyone to stay here. I have stayed other much nicer places in Panama City Beach and will go back to them.

No wifi, no kiddie pool, no restaurant but a little cheesy snack bar with hardly nothing, and you can not use the amentiies of the resort as stated in the online ad. Great views and location but service is terrible and it does not offer what it promises. Would not recommend it to others.

For anyone who wants to stay somewhere in Panama this is an exellent place to stay. Dont listen to the lady Karen I have been there before. From what I have seen they have added on so there should be more to do then when I was there. There is a GREAT view and the pools are very nice, I would recomend going there. Its a nice place for a family to stay, there are very nice people there and it is vey fun.

LIKED NOTHING......No security, when I first drove up with my 2 small children, there were used sexual protection all in the parking lot. The guy at the registration desk was not friendly, did not even care about the stuff in the parking lot plus we could not get our key for 3 hours because the system was down, had to change rooms because I complained of no internet, no kiddie pool, no private balcony and no hot tub... all the amenities that they advertise. They told me they were aware the internet ad was wrong and hear complaints all the time. Then the other room had a broken air conditioner, was a lot smaller and put my kids right next to the amenities that we could not use but yet was told we paid for it in the online ad. I complained again and all they did was waive the cancellation fee so I can move to another place. Mind you, it was 11:00 at night and we were there for check in at 4:00. We had to settle for a hotel with less amenities on short notice, with no discount. Our vacation was 3 days but the first day was wasted on trying to find a room. The thing that bothers me is the manager on duty was not even sorry that the ad was wrong. I think Book.it and Boardwalk are both at fault here. I was promised a room with certain amenities for a certain price and I waited for the right deal. Both of them seemed disinterested that the marketing ad was wrong and they had no intention of making good on it and allowing us to use the amenities like wifi that we were promised. Even though we stayed at a place that did not advertise great amenities, we were somewhat satisfied because we had a place to stay with some of our amenities. My children had fun but to me it was the worse vacation ever. We came down in memory of my mother's death because we put her ashes in the ocean at the State Park. I cried half the night after my children went to bed. I WILL NEVER USE BOOK.IT OR GO TO BOARDWALK AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!

The first night (May 15, 2008) we were there we had to change room at 12AM because we had ants in our beds. Plus the site to the ocean was cover by a Palm Tree. Once moved to our new room (at ANOTHER building) we did get better sight of the ocean but the carpet stayed wet from a the AC unit leaking into our room. We were not the only people that had to move rooms that first night. I talked to another guest and they said they had MOLD on the walls and they moved that night to a SMALLER room. Not only the room were back but the SERVICE WAS AWFUL. Never could get hold of the front desk, maid service really didn't do there job (EX. we had to vacuum our own room.), the website offers all this cool stuff for kids but you couldn't use none because it was for the condos ONLY, and the staff wasn't that helpful at all on our stay. Other problems we had were: NO PARKING. Once you did find one we had to walk a VERY long way to your room. NO LAGUAGE CHARTS were available when needed. NO INTERNET CONNECTION. The website says they have it but we NEVER were able to get on-line. NO HOT TUB. I'll NEVER again stay at this place again and hope whoever reads this will not either.

We liked the pool view room plus we had a room onthe 4th floor on the end,it was really quite. This was our second stay in less than a month.The only problem we had on this stay was no ice on our floor we had to go to the 3rd or 4th floor.We booked for 3 nights and got a really good rate. They need to keep the cafe open or the snack bar open in the evening in case people really don't won't to go ut to eat.

We stayed one night (July 2007). Great room with beach view and balcony..beautifully decorated; a/c worked fine; we paid $142.00 for the one night, checked in around 2pm, but had to be out by 10am. Not fair; we asked for an extended stay until 12 noon, were told the room was booked for later that day. Apparently it takes 6 hours to clean a somewhat small room! We loved our stay, but since they were unwilling to bend on the checkout, we probable won't return - too little time for too much money. Otherwise, the beach is beautiful, and the room was nice.

Booked and paid for 2 queen beds for 5 nights at the hotel (friends and family booked at the condos)...was bumped to substandard TOP OF THE GULF CONDOS. No compensation for giving my room to someone else. Was treated rudely by management. The website (Boardwalk Beach Resort and Hotel) is a blatent lie. There is not a private beach, you CANNOT use the amenities of the resort, and there are NOT WI-FI hotspots. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AND ROYAL AMERICAN HOSPITALITY!!!!
