Desire Resort Spa Los Cabos, S. Jose del Cabo

Desire Los Cabos is just as their slogan says, Deliciously Erotic. Coming from the airport in San Jose del Cabo, take the shared ride shuttle, like Grey Line, Desire is usually the first stop. And watch the faces on the others in the van when the van pulls up to the naked bronze statues and 'Deliciously Erotic' in 20 foot high letters... The accommodations, beautifully landscaped grounds and clothing optional facilities are great for couples. The mornings are very slow and relaxing. Most guests will sunbathe by the heated pool or just catch up on much needed sleep from the night before. As the day progresses, the daytime temperature will rise as will the entertainment level. The entertainment staff offers optional pool side activities that change daily. The 30 person Jacuzzi with the infinity edge over looking the beach is a popular gathering place in the late afternoon. Don't be surprised to see one or more of the Palapa beds surrounding the Jacuzzi being used by a couple or two or... The whole scene is incredible and there is no obligation for anyone to participate. In the evening, dinner is followed by professional entertainment and dancing in the disco or Jacuzzi or Melange Bar until the early morning hours and then a new day begins. We Have been to Desire Riviera Maya. We prefer Desire Cabo due to its dry (non-rainforest) climate, luxury and attentive staff. A four or five day visit allows us to relax and unwind from the daily grind and benefit from its romantic ambiance. The rooms are not big, yet they are comfortable with excellent air conditioning. But, no one spends much time in their room with all that is happening. We made lots of new friends. The food is great! Breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, lunch is served in the restaurant by the pool and dinner rotates to one of the three restaurants offering a different menu each night. If you need something, Batteries, beer, a swimsuit, etc, Mega (Mexican version of Walmart is right across the street. If you feel you need to get away for a bit, San Jose de Cabo,is a clean, quiet community. It is a 30 minute walk or a short $5 cab ride for shopping and offers a few fine restaurants for dining. We love this resort and encourage others to visit and discover the best kept secret in Mexico.

It was to be our Dream Vacation. So, we searched and found Desires All inclusive Resort. We researched and found it to be a very Secluded Seductive Resort. We were excited. So, we clicked on Desires Web site to make reservations. We in putted our dates of travel and type of room requested. Desires website transferred us to their online travel system Dream Pleasures Tour. They took all our information and Monies for complete package of the all inclusive resort with to and from transportation by Tourex Los Cabos. Dream Pleasures Tour requested all our flight information and arrival times and departure times. Several contacts were made with appreciation for making the reservations. We received all our vouchers and lastly was told "After retrieving your luggage walk OUTSIDE the terminal and look for the TOUREX TRANSFER SERVICE personnel holding the signage with your name on it or Desire Resort & Spa Los Cabos." We arrive on Wednesday sept 12 at 3:00 p.m. flight schedules on time. We pick up our baggage and proceed to walk out of the terminal when the Nightmare began. Immediately we were bomb-barred by dozens of men hustling for taxis . We searched for our transportation personnel holding a sign for us. Nowhere to be found. Approached by numerous men asking where are we staying. Once I stated where, we were wisked away to a counter where we mislead to into believing they knew of the tourex company. We called tourex and was told there was no reservations for transportation for us. So, we were told by the Villa Group Gerardo Irigoyen that he can get us a cab and take us to our resort. But it will cost us $70 and we"ll have to go to a timeshare the following day. We were at their Mercy. Now we were worried if we even had the reservations at the resort after all. We rode in a cab through the roughest part of town in transit to the desires resort. Scared, and trying to call the resort with no prevail. We arrive at the resort and I run in to see if we do indeed have reservations. Yes!!!!! we did. Terrified and Scared we check in. We were greeted with smiles and comfort, but when we started telling our story it seemed to go to deaf ears. They didn't seem to understand that this is their website that it's making all of these schedules. That night was a very relaxing night. Hotel working staff is awesome. (waiters, door men, food staff, bartenders) The following morning we meet with management to try to resolve the issue that had happened the previous day to learn, that they only want to hear us if we are interested in becoming gold members by buying into their timeshare program . For next four days we were constantly being called from the guy from the airport . About going to a timeshare. How did he get our room number? Of course nobody could answer why. The resort food was awesome, pretty place, room very clean. Be careful if you step foot off the resort onto the beach because you are swarmed with Vendors selling everything, and they don't give up with a no thank you. We dared to go to the Mega store for some good ol american beer. Located close to the resort. Only to be harassed by store employees to go to even more time shares. Not Nice. We were very happy to be back on america soil

Just wanted to give a quick heads up as this questions seems to come up over and over on these forums. If you're looking to network with people before heading to Temptation check out temptation360-dot-com. It's pretty much the only place you can do that kind of thing. That's my tip. Make friends before you get there. It's a highly social resort and you'll be glad you did it.

I had a GREAT time! Can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect and the staff was incredible. The only thing that I woud think about complaining , would be the lunch menu. But other than that, It was a great resort.

NOTHING TO LIKE. Rooms were small, Dirty, and nothing like you see on the web site. We actually checked out early and book the remainder of our stay at the Westins Grand Regina. Food was bland, at pool side cafe, nothing special, staff was so-so...Nothing to write home and rave about. If you go do not get room 131....NO privacy ....Your hot tub is right next to pool side cafe, and everyone can see you!!!!!! DID I SAY NO PRIVACY! HOTEL WOULD NOT OFFER CREDIT OR REFUND WHEN WE CHECK OUT EARLY....TRAVELER BEWARE OF THIS LOW CLASS 1/2 STAR RESORT....NASTY~

My husband and I took a mini vacay from the kiddies. This is the resort to be if you want to go to a resort without the kids. My husband and I read several reviews before we decided to book this resort. I jus want to let the people who are reading these reviews that the food was awesome! We loved our room the staff the hot tub and the night life. They have several activites planned during the day if you get board. My husband and I won a dance contest! So much fun. We rented a car and drove to the beach. Be aware of the guys behind the desk at the airport upon arrival. Their trying to sell you timeshare for another resort. We had a blast! I defiantly recommend this resort. oh and if you don't mind being tempted this is the place to go!

After a great deal of research, my boyfriend selected Temptations as our first trip together. We both checked the reviews and felt pretty prepared. We loved the staff and the great service they provided. The small, intimate resort was great for our needs as we didn't want to be around a huge amount of people, and definitely wanted to avoid kids. We enjoyed the location, and even found that we prefer the smaller Los Cabos to the more commercial Cab San Lucas. Although we didn't take part in all of the nightly parties, it sounded like people were having a great time. We didn't notice the noise too much as our air conditioner drowned out the music. We did have a few small issues, which we will be prepared for next year. We didn't like the lunch selection. The food wasn't all that great, and the choices never changed at lunch. It was difficult to stick to healthy eating for the afternoon meals. We found a bar and grill across the street that was fantastic, so we will be regulars there. The pool water was a bit warm for our tastes. It finally cooled down on Sunday, but that's the day we left, so we weren't able to enjoy it as much. Overall, the location worked for us, as it is across the street from a Starbucks, and a $5 USD cab ride to downtown for dinners. Check out Tequila - great steak house with intimate atmosphere. Our goal was a relaxed week, and we got it at Temptations!

My husband I stayed here last year for my birthday, we normally stay in Cabo San Lucas. This place though small, was soo comfortable, clean and just the way it looked on online in its pictures! The food was great, the employees were greater! had a super great time, rented a car and drove down to Cabo San Lucas! ... 1 year later we're heading back and staying here again ... these two weeks cant seem to come fast enough! I highly recommend this hotel!

stayed here in April by far one of the best vacations I've had the staff is 5 star. Be prepared to party till the wee hours

I liked the size of the resort and the staff was very nice. The food was average to below average. Breakfast and dinner were good but lunch was horrible. The lounge area is in the center of the hotel so if you want to go to bed early it is difficult with the very loud music blarring till midnight. It is topless optional. However, I did see a women come to breakfast with no pants on. DISGUSTING! The staff and everyone thought it was strange as well. I did not see anyone from the resort approach the woman and advise her again of the dress code.
