Resort has issues, but overall nice.

We just returned from a week stay at the Prince and generally speaking, had a great time. There were a few issues, but the positives overshadowed the negatives.
Let's start with the negatives. Check-in is a total nightmare. There are only a few parking spaces for registration and if they're full, you either wait offsite for a couple of hours or park in the parking deck across the street and haul your luggage about 200 yards without a luggage cart (because they are hard to find as well) to the elevator bank. To add fuel to the check-in debacle, only 3 elevators are present, so you have to wait in line for what seems like eternity. Just pray on the way that all 3 elevators are working, because when I arrived, one was down, which made the problem worse. Once you're moved into you're room and all 3 elevators are working, your stay will improve dramatically. Parking is a pain, because you have to park across the street, so running to the grocery store or starbucks is an ordeal and timely. You'll find yourself walking when possible. Check-out isn't nearly as bad as check-in, but do it early on the day of your departure.
The location and rooms are excellent. The resort is within walking distance to the Cherry Grove business district (grocery and hardware stores, food and shopping). The view from the room is breath taking, which I enjoyed daily by sitting on the balcony for hours. For fishermen, the attached pier is nice, but be ready to shell out some cash because staying at the pier doesn't mean the price is included in your rent. The pools are nice, although a bit small and crowded, so we spent most of our time on the beach.
Overall, I recommend the Prince. Just plan your trip and be ready for some issues. Take a deep breath, plow through the issues and have a great time. I'll visit again next year...
