Oasis Viva All-Inclusive, Zona Hotelera

The pool and beach area were great. They kept activities going all day long. The staff was helpful. Anytime we needed anything they were very quick to help. My only complaint would probably be the restaurants in the hotel besides the buffet. The food was just ok. The buffet had several options!! I definitely would go back again for the price.

this Place was well well worth the price it was one of the best I have had and My wife and myself have stayed at numerous resorts in the past like sandals, Iberostar and riu Palace resorts. and you pay three times the price for not much more. If all you want is an awsome beach, great pools, good food and unpretentous people this place is for you. we met the best people to stay or go out with and have a good time. the other resorts will promise you a bathrobe in your room for 3 times the price I have figured out that is not a selling point for me

The hotel location is convenient. People serve in the pool, front desk and restaurants are very nice and friendly. Although, the foods in all of the restaurants are not that good. The dishes are too plain and lack of variety & good cook. The room is Ok, we found out one of the pillow was kind of smelly right on the 1st night we stayed, hope all the bed stuff are washed for every guest. Overall, we had a great time in Cancun for the 1st time being there.

The first impression of the hotel was OK. The pool didn't seem to have enough chairs around it you needed to get up early for a spot in the sun. Don't forget it's really 2 hotels in 1 the viva beach and the grand viva beach, the grand is much much better than the regular oasia viva beach. The swim up bar was full of kids sitting in the chairs because of course it was right next to the kids pool. The grand oasis viva beach says you get a mini bar filled daily in your room, what they didn't tell you was that daily meant limited. They would only give you two bottles of water a day then you would have to plead and call for service for extra on a daily basis. The overall experience was decent, I suggest spending the extra money for the upgraded area the pool area alone is worth it especially if you DO NOT have kids it was more adults. The staff as a hole was good, several of them did not speak english at all so that was a problem at times also. Location wise was close walking distance to shopping which was good.
