Love the place!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Camp H. It has country style decoration. It's real West Virginia gem! Tony and his wife are friendly. They were very responsive to our last minute reservation. Moreover, we miss our morning greeting from "Blossom", the lovely pug already. Camp Hill is convenient to everything (e.g. National Park, Lower town, River Rider, Anvil Seafood restaurant). Parking is very convenient and free. Breakfast is yummy! Check in and check out is very fast. No need to fill in the paperwork. I recommend this place to everyone who loves country style atmosphere!

What a great place. Privacy, quiet and great food from Tony. The host is laid back but eager to please, just a down to earth nice guy. He offers as much as you want in the way of advice or ideas but is never pushy. The accomodations were the best. Clean, well maintained and very quiet. And Harpers Ferry was a great place to visit and get away busy without being crowded with plenty to keep us occupied and curious. We loved the town and will return and when we do it will be to stay at Camp Hill

Not great.

I do not recommend this B&B. My husband and I went here to stay on a Friday and Saturday night, with our friends meeting us on Saturday to go on a winery tour. Here were our issues: - The owner kept referring to my husband as "boy" - You could only order one item for everyone for breakfast, even on the second morning where there were 4 of us, so we all had to eat the same thing - We had to do our own dishes (I don't go on vacation to wash someone else's dishes). - I requested a linen change on the second morning, as we wanted to stay in the downstairs bedroom the first night, and let our friends stay there the second night. The owner would not do it. - The bed in the loft is advertised as a queen, it is a full at best, maybe even twin.
