Bayberry Motor Inn, Old Lyme

Well I didnt mind the motel my room was very clean, spacious,and came stocked with kitchenware and the owner was wonderful and friendly what i didnt like is a few people there who just by looking at them made me wonder what kind off drugs they were on i didnt feel safe at all they shouldnt rent rooms too people who look like they came from the streets bad for buisness and security i wanted too call the police but there was this guy who made sure he kept in eye out on things he was very kind and gave me a sence of security and that there are good people out there but over all I loved the room very nice and the area was excellent

The rooms are full of bedbugs and management wont do anything but spray raid and refuses refunds. Reported Inn to Health Department and also Better Business Bureau. The management is run by a family who seems used to complaints. The person who came to address the issue, which was to return with Raid, was about 16 years old. He said he had to go to his other job so he wouldn't be back until earlier that evening. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay here

In America from England for a wedding we were delighted with the service levels throughout the hotel. Rooms are a good size with excellent bathroom and very comfortable They were absolutely fabulous beds.staff that made you smile with every contact

It was very much surprise after i read the review and decided to check this motel. After i reach their i check the room and it was very good room. It's average large room . Staff are friendly. Great location.Beach nearby. restaurant are near by. Noantic is just 1mile.

The manager wanted us to be happy. Each time he saw us he asked if we needed anything. The place is in a very good location. It's near Rocky Neck State Park and Sound View Beach. Close to Niantic. The room desperately needed updating though.

I showed up around 10 P.M. and woke the people up to get a room, they charged $79 for a room that needed to be vacuumed and had no towels...definatly would not go back.
