Paragon Casino Resort Hotel and Conference Center, Marksville

My husband and I went and stayed the weekend, the rooms were ok and we didn't win big, but I visited the spa and was so impressed. It has an upscale feel and I left feeling like a new woman! My massage with Misty was out of this world. We also ate at the the steakhouse but my favorite was Roxy's, good service and food. We will be returning as soon as possible. The only thing that was less than satifactory was the cigarette smell.

I love this place. The rooms are always clean. The North and South Towers are older rooms, but they're clean!! All employee's are friendly and very helpful!! My husband and I get a room for the night as often as we can. I highly recommend The Paragon Casino Resort!!!

You get what you pay for. Or in some instances less! The service is very poor, especially the cleaning service and service at the Buffet. The rooms are dirty, the beds are not well made or comfortable. The walls are very thin. Most of the employees could care less to be there and would rather "hang around" and chat with one another than actually work. Do not pay a lot to stay here. This place truly is a rip off.

I liked the spa treatment, it was fun playing the casino and the food BUuuuuuut the older side of hotel had beds of rocks! If I hear that they ever change the beds , we may consider going back...I missed awhole nights sleep while vacationing..I would recommend it to others but stick to the newer bedrooms...I'll go back to gamble though..

My family and I visited the weekend of March 18th and it was our first time. My dad and his girlfriend visits there often and he had been telling us all the good things.. even for kids! We expected more as far as our room was concerned, but overall it was nice. We plan to get a room in the atrium next time we visit. That should be in the next 2 months or so... once school's out and give the kids a mini vacation. The food was good too!

Bad service and dirty rooms is just not worth the money or the time.

WE LOVE TO GO TO PARAGON. IT'S LIKE A MINI VACATION. THEY HAVE THINGS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY & THE STAFF IS GREAT !!! THEY MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME & WILL HELP IN ANYWAY POSSIBLE. WE LOVE THE BUFFET,MOVIE THEATERE,& THE NEW MOTEL IS WONDERFUL. I WAS TOLD THEY HAVE A ROOM WITH A POOL TABLE & WHEN I HIT BIG (HA!) I WILL STAY IN THAT SUITE.

Didn't like because requested a special parking space 60 days in advance but was denied. We liked the casino, because you can gamble there., Henry Shaw, Sun City West, AZ

Once you get here, and it is not an unpleasant drive through the country - you won't believe what they have. Full hotel services of a luxury nature, spa, swim up bar in the tropical pool, waterfall, sundeck, fitness room, outdoor pool as well. Plus the gaming, oh my! There were slots, table games, poker room and Off Track Betting. Everyone was so friendly, I really felt good about getting out of Texas and away! then we ate - so much, so often, so good! Finally, the nightlife was fun, too. First night we tried Legends, then Big Daddy's and late in the evening a fantastic burger at Roxie's Diner. Oh, of course we did the Buffet!

Great casino! The staff is super friendly. The rooms are beautiful. I love the alligator exhibit. Fabulous place to visit. My only complaint is that I don't get to go there as often as I'd like to.
