I enjoy the Paragon Casino because of it's different atmosphere it has to offer. It's diverse in structure, gaming and entertaining. I enjoy the food, beverages and convenient to the casino from the room without a hassle. As long as your playing beverages are free. The thing i dislike about this casino is that it's to far from where i live. Oh, I almost forgot, i enjoy listening to Chuck Berry Music.

I enjoy going to the casino because it is the only place I can go to enjoy myself, and SMOKE !!!! If people can't handle the smoke they need to find another enjoyment. I'm glad this casino is not run by the government.

Front desk staff treated me with no manners, insisting that my AMEX card was no longer valid (this, after over 1100 miles of driving and constant use at gas pumps). They tried the used car salesman tactic of insisting that I speak with a manager in her office about my wish to cancel. The manager scolded her own staff for sending me in, and worse, the hotel continues to insist that the remaining $158 charge is something they will not remove. I never even saw the inside of the rooms because when I checked in at noon, they informed me that no rooms would be available until 4 p.m., but that they would conduct a "preauthorization" and swipe my card to make the actual check in easier. My advice: Do not submit to any preauthorization before you are given your room keys. They are not flexible on cancelling. Also, get reading for copious amounts of cigarette smoke in this property. It is everywhere. Bring comfortable shoes. I stood in line for over 12 minutes waiting for the insular clerk at the front desk to wait on me.

The hotel was very nice..the front desk was very promped and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Food was good. Roxy's cafe was very slow in service and I felt the prices were a little much. Our party of 4 gave them some $$$. And we went to the VIP desk and they were kind enough to comp us breakfast the next morning. It is a 7 hour drive for us. So as long as they can give us some comps to make it worth our drive we will be back. I enjoyed my stay very much

My husband and I live about 1 1/2 hours away and go to the Paragon once a month. We have never paid for a room, as we have a comp room offered to us once a month and we are no high rollers, as my husband does not gamble and I play only pennies. All of our stays have been very pleasurable, with extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, good food, and my gambling money lasts a while. We have been to Las Vegas over 20 times and the casinos in New Orleans and Shreveport many times. For a quick getaway, the Paragon is our casino of choice. They have given us the best room comps, food comps and free slot play. We're going back in two weeks and I am really looking forward to it. The bed on our last visit was the best bed I have ever slept in!

My wife and I have traveled all over to many different casinos and usually only stay at Harrah's properties. Our casino host at Harrah's New Orleans was Edith Ang and she was hired by Paragon. We would visit Harrah's New Orleans at leat 3-4 times a year. I called Edith at Paragon and this past June we traveled to Paragon and absolutely loved it. The golf course was beautiful and we actually went back again a couple weeks later. We have to fly in from Charleston SC. Edith is by far the best Casino Host you'll find anywhere. We are going back again over Veterans Day. We love the Paragon and the people but most of all Edith Ang. Marcus and Debbie

I have been to Paragon 4 times in the last few years I would go more often but it's a 6 hr drive. We have stayed in the cabins,park model and the last time in the hotel. We have always had a great time even if we didn't win. My only complaint is sometimes it's hard getting a cocktail when gambling which is when we need it the most. I don't like to leave a machine to get a drink. I will be there again in a couple of days

Thecheck in staff was wonderful and the place is beautiful. I checked into my room and was delighted at how big and spacious it was. The tub and showers in the South Tower where stayed were a filty mess. I thought since it was so large and spacious I could enjoy a good night soak after traveling, not so since I had to clean the tub and esppecially the jets. While trying to enjoy the bath after all that hard work I noticed how nasty the molding at the base of the shower was.(Gross) Houesekeepers need to clean the shower, shower heads, seal, grout and tubs the whole thing not just the top of it. More inspections need to be done of the place. The second night I opted for a shower, but I brought pair of shower shoes.

I have to say that the food at the paragon buffet was alright however the price for children is way to high.We go there with alot of other families and stay in the RV park and sometimes in the hotel.We would eat there more but because of their CRAZY HIGH prices for children at the buffet we have to get the kids from kids quest to go eat at a local mcd's or burger king and by that time we do not return to play on the floors at the casino until the next day.However if you do eat at the buffet ask to be seated in Janet Aymonds section!!!! She is by for the BEST waitress and tends to all your needs. I have had many waitresses before but she is simply the best.If the higher ups would get more employees like her, it would probably make us go more to that particular casino. Hats off to Ms. Janet and next time you eat at their buffet , ask for her section and you will see what I mean!!
