Description

Sea turtles are seen daily with their heads peaking above the waves. In the winter it is not uncommon to see pods of whales breaching. Verdant mountains offer a stunning contrast to the sea and stretch along the coast. Giant palm trees sway in the refreshing trade winds, sporting colorful hammocks for rest and relaxation. Our tropical garden and beach areas are inviting and softly lit for evening fun too.

North Shore hideout
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/11/11
We stayed at the Coco Bungalow. Expectations were very high and Tiki Moon delivered. The Bungalow offered privacy, an ocean view and plenty of space for 2 ppl. All ameneties were available and in working order (tv, appliances, kitchen items). The beachfront was amazing (although not a ton of space, but typical of hawaiian shore). Off street parking too. Great location directly across from Polynesian Cultural Center. Not too far from Laie shops. Close to Haliewa and other North Shore destinations. Great hideout at a fair price. I would recommend this place to friends/family without hesitation.

Honeymoon Heaven
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/11/11
We instantly felt like Tiki Moon was our home away from home. Secluded, beautiful, comfortable...just what we dreamed of! Ray is the perfect host...around when you need him and invisible when you don't. Jake was a sweet part of our stay, too. We are hoping to get back again soon.

Unbelievable Place - Booked for This Year, Too
By Lisa May Davidson, 6/16/10
There is nothing not to like! The owner, Ray is pleasant and very accommodating. The Bamboo Hale where we stayed was absolutely beautiful. clean, comfortable, and newly remodeled. We went out on the beach for the sunrise every morning and watched the crabs dance across the sand. There's a super market down the road. We loved the Shrimp Trucks that dot the North Shore - great shrimp scampi and Masimoto's for shave ice. The PCC is right across the street with the best luau on the island, and the Turtle Bay Resort is just up the road with the best brunch on the island (now that the Royal Hawaiian stopped theirs). A quiet peaceful and mellow place. If you're looking for the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, this is not your place! We actually stay both places each trip, but for the area, this is abolutely the best and the price cannot be beat!

Beautiful and peaceful!
By Steve, 3/22/10
We really enjoyed our stay here in the Coco Bungalow. The beach was beautiful and secluded, we saw very few others on the beach. We walked across the street to go to the Polynesian Culture Center. We wished we could have stayed longer, we enjoyed this location much more than our stay in Waikiki. We definately recommend staying here! Beautiful and peaceful! Steve M, Utah
