Lazy U Motel, Rapid City

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Verlyn was very helpful with where to ride in the Black Hills. Location is central and quick and easy to get anywhere from the motel. Stayed for 5 days and the room was made up and cleaned every morning. The coffee in the lobby is better than the Perkins next door. Great price and a great place to stay, highly recommend it.

We search all over for a cheap and a cleam motel, and we found this one. This is a excellent motel. close dto the attractions and shopping area. VERY VERY CLEAN!!! NOT A THING OUT OF PLACE. Even the microwave is clean. I LOVE this place. I would like to come back.

We had another opportunity to stay at the Lazy U, and it is just a warm, comfortable stay and extreemly clean. Verlyn and Cindy know how to take care of their guests, and we both recomend this hotel highly. This is a family run facility that shows they are proud of their offerings, and insist on high quality. thanks!!! We will be back, d and t and Nick and J too.

This place Rocks! My nephew stays here all the time and he said that me and my wife, Jackie, would love it. Well, it fit like a glove. The rooms are clean, beds are great, a/c is cold, even the shower heads are great. Verlyn, Cindy, and Jake (their papillon puppy), make you feel right at home. Location is perfect and the coffee is great! We will return!

The motel is very easy to locate. The rooms were very nice and clean. and the owners were friendly The rates are the best you will ever find. Plenty of eating establlishments close by. Would recommend it to anyone. We will stay there again if we get back to Rapid City.

We had a great stay! Super clean and very comfortable. Just what we needed after a busy day exploring the area! Great price too! We will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling there. The owners are super friendly. They were very helpful with directions, restaurants, and all the other tourist type questions! We had a burned out light bulb and it was replaced within 10 minutes. We also had a parking issue as another reviewer had, but the owner took care of it right away. We had no problems with the service at all!

This little hideaway was very reasonably priced and SPOTLESSLY clean. Although it lacks a pool or hot tub and the parking area is small, the host was wonderfully helpful and the price was very reasonable. Perkins restaurant is right next door as well. While a little tough to find, Mount Rushmore and those attractions are just up the road from the motel. I will be going back the next time I'm in Rapid.
