Riverside Motel & Cabins, Ennis

THE HOSTS, JOHN AND ANNE LIPPINCOTT ARE THE BEST PART OF THIS PLACE. SEEMS LIKE YOU'VE KNOWN THEM FOR EVER ABOUT TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU ARRIVE. THE CABINS ARE QUAINT AND VERY CLEAN. THE MOTEL SITS DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE LIONS CLUB PARK. THERE ARE TWO BALL FIELDS, A LARGE POND AND SEVERAL PAVED TRAILS. YOU CAN WALK RIGHT TO THE MADISON RIVER FROM THE PARK. IF YOU ENJOY WILD LIFE YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. DEER ABOUND IN THE PARK AND RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR CABIN SOMETIMES. THROW IN ANNE'S GREEN HOUSE AND THE FRIENDLY STAFF AND YOU GET THE IDEA. YOU CAN WALK TO ANYPLACE IN DOWNTOWN IN MINUTES. WE ALWAYS STAY HERE!

Great place to stay. Nice and cozy, clean, pet friendly and very nice service. It's located right by the park and river and a short walk to town. Perfect location. We will definetly return if we need a place to stay.

Overall a great place to stay. My family stayed here for a week and absolutely love the cute layout. It was right next to the park and river where my kids could fish. We could walk in town to all the shops and restaurants. This was my second time staying there and it keeps getting better.

The room was very clean, the location was excellent. I was able to walk to everything.

The two people at the desk were beyond rude! The woman called me a liar when I reported that we found three large screws in our daughters bed, then the man blamed his son, an exchange student, for leaving them there when installing an airconditioner. Who were the liars... There was mold growing in the shower, which they were ok with becasue it was one of their oldest units. When is mold ok in a motel? Don't they clean the rooms on a regular basis. They charged extra for anyone over the age of five because teenagers take up the same space in the bed as adults. If my two year old slept in that bed, I would hope they would change all the sheets not just the part they slept in...is it even possible to change part of a sheet? Relatives have stayed at FAN MOUNTAIN and had a wonderful time, and received fantastic customer service. Don't even consider this motel.
