THE FRONTDESK WAS HORRIBLE (KRISTINE)
AROUND THE SAME TIME LAST YEAR I WAS THERE SO IM NO STRANGER TO THE PROCESS...BEST TIME EVER.2011( REGRISTRATION WENT SMOOTH). THIS YEAR 2012 WAS A NIGHTMARE CHECKING IN...I GOT THERE AT 1145AM BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE FRONTDESK IT WAS AROUND 1150AM. I TOLD THE YOUNG LADY ( WHICH WAS SUPERVISED) I WAS THERE TO CHECK IN ( IN HOPE THAT MAYBE I GOT LUCKY AS I DID LAST YEAR. SHE REPLIED IM DOING CHECK OUT NOT CHECK IN... GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE...I KNEW I WAS AHEAD MAYBE BY THEN 7 OR 8 MINUTES SO I STOOD BY FOR A FEW MINUTES. THE LINE THEN WAS LOOOOONG, MEANWHILE THE GUEST BEHIND ME GOT CHECKED IN...I DONT LOOK OUTSIDE MYSELF I THOUGHT MAYBE ITS THERE LUCKY DAY AS IT WAS MINE LAST YEAR SO INSTEAD OF WAITING I WENT AND HAD BREAKFAST AT JOHNNEY ROCKETS (GOOD FOOD) WHEN I GOT BACK IT WAS LIKE 145PM ... (SAME PERSON) SORRY CHECK IN IS AT 4PM & GAVE ME MY PARK PASSES...IM A LITTLE ANNOYED BUT LEFT GRACEFULLY...NOW I IETHER RENT A LOCKER TO SECURE MY BELONGINGS TO ENJOY THE PARK AND GO BACK TO FRONTDESK SOAKED AND WET AT 4 FOR MY ROOM KEY OR JUST STAND/SIT THERE AND WAIT THE REMAINING OF THE TIME DRY!( WASTED PRECIOUS MOMENTS) I DECIDED TO PRESS MY LUCK AND CHECK AGAIN AROUND 3PM I ASKED IS THE ROOM READY(SAME PERSON) REPLIES "YES THE ROOM IS......NOT READY" IM AT THE END OF MY ENDURANCE KNOWING SHE S PLAYING WORD GAMES I LEAVE BACK TO MY WAITING POST...345PM MY PARTNER DECIDES TO CHECK SEE IF THE ROOM WAS READY AND GOT A DIFFERENT PERSON AS HE WAS GIVING THE LAST NAME THE FRONTDESK WAS READY TO GIVE THE ROOM KEY (SAME PERSON FROM BEFORE) REPLIES FROM A DISTANCE SORRY WE HAVE TWO GUESTS WITH SAME LAST NAME ROOM NOT READY BUT NEVER ASKED FOR FIRST NAME( SHE HAD SEEN US TOGETHER) NOW THIS WAS PERSONAL. I WAS INFORMED OF WHAT HAD JUST TRANSPIRED AND BY THEN I DONE HAD IT 345PM I GO TO THE SIDE OF THE FRONT DESK AND GET THE ATTENTION OF THE PERSON THAT WAS SUPERVISING HER EARLIER (NO UNIFORM) BEFORE I EVEN SAID ANYTHING " THERE YOU GO WE WERE LOOKING FOR YOU" I ASKED WHAT WAS THE YOUNG LADY'S NAME THAT HAD SERVICE ME EARLIER SHE REPLIES YVONNE .... NOTE TO SELF YVONNE EARNED A NOT SO GOOD REVIEWED.....NEEDLESS TO SAY THE REST OF THE STAY WAS LOVELY....WONDERFULL TIME ....AS I WAS CHECKING OUT (SAME PERSON ) STANDING THERE WITH A TAG NAME KRISTINE......THAT BLEW MY HEAD..IT ONLY CONFIRMED THAT THE SUPERVISOR CONDONED HER BEHAVIOR......SO IF YOU DONT MIND WAITING OR GETTING WET BEFORE GETTING A ROOM BE PREPARED OR YOULL BE WALKING AROUND SOAK AND WET FROM 12 TO 4PM UNLESS YOU GET LUCKY AND DONT GET SERVICED BY KRISTINE!

Waste of Money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/25/11
Checked in with family of three kids Sunday afternoon. We were on a package deal that included indoor water park and Six Flags the next day. $625 for two adults, three kids. Do the math. $625- 175 (Six Flags day passes) = $450. For $450 you get a motel room with foam beds, a water park that is as hot as a sauna and more tatoos than the Indy 500 and a staff that doesn't smile or give a hoot about your complaints. I would have expected alot more from this place for what we paid. Oh, and the water slides were down for two hours due to chemical imbalance. Tv's in room were not flat screen, they were Zenith vintage from 1985 at best. hair dryers not working, shower curtains stained. Motel 6 with an indoor water slide. Stay at a local motel for $199 and have a great day at Six Flags.

Stay was good, however....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/10
Better hope you don't have any issues, as the paper pushers in the place are irresponsible. I left there last week, with a hold on my debit card of 172.50. This week, the hold on my debit card is still there. I got in contact with someone ONCE, only to have her tell me the bank sometimes takes up to ten days. Fine. I call the bank and the bank tells me that the hotel didn't contact Merchant Services, and I need to contact the hotel once more. After leaving numerous voice mails and emails, still no reply. There's no company directory listed, and I keep getting transferred, and twice disconnected after a twenty minute wait. This to me is unforgivable, since I'm a returning customer, who spends over one thousand dollars every time I go. I save all year for this trip, so it's not like I have a lot of money. I'm beyond upset, and if you have any issues like this, buckle up for a long frustrating ride.

Water park cold.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/2/10
Good points was able to check in and get our room at noon. The first day we were there the water was a little chilly but tolerable. The next day the water was literally cold. Many little children were crying and their lips turning blue and were clinging to their parents shivering . My two 11 year olds barely went in at all and kept sitting in chairs in the sun with towels wrapped around them. I went to management to complain and she said the water is always the same temperature and was no different than it was yesterday, this coming from someone who obviously is not going into this water. I heard several people complaining that the water was much colder than the day before. The room was clean and nice. However be careful when using the phone, I had checked with the front desk to see if there was a charge for local calls and was told no that all local calls are free but when I went to check out they tried to charge my credit card for phone charges of 75 cents a call. I heard them doing that to other people as well.

Check in a NIGHTMARE!!!!
By Jaime, 1/31/10
They told us we could check in to use the waterpark and our room would be ready at 4. That was after waiting in line for almost an hour. We left them our phone number and they told us they would call us....they never did....so went back on line after 4....for them to tell us that the room was still not ready. As my children were screaming in my ear from a long day of travel...I asked to speak with a manager....and MAGICALLY the room was now ready. The water park is small and on the dirty side. If you are thinking of going to a water park....I would pay the extra money and go to Great Wolf Lodge in PA. The good: the characters were cute and seemed to be everywhere...the food was ok.

Can't wait to go back
By Kurt, 12/7/09
We went hear with no expectations and it turned out to be one of our favorite family trips. My twin 2 year olds have not stopped asking when we are going back and if you now 2 year olds they ask every single day. My older daughter loved this as well. With the park next door this was a great weekend trip. Might not be a Disney trip nut I will tell you my kids speak about this more then they do our Disney trip. Will make ths an every year trip once in summer and once in winter.

Save Your Money!
By Jeremy, 4/22/09
This was our Third trip to The Indoor Water Park and it has went down hill every year! First Year was fun and couldn't wait to go back this was back in 2006. The next year 2007 we rent a larger room, but had more limitations on when we could check in and go into the water park-at a higher price for the room still not bad---This Year rented the largest room because we didnt have limitations we could go into the Water Park til the room was ready and stay in the Water Park Okay Seems Good but we got there No Bell Boys to Help, The Tree House was Broke for the duration of the stay (the Majority of the slides and water) Then the next day Tree House closed, Hot Tub Close and Family ride Closed. The park has mold all over including the air vents and is hard to breath if you have asthma. The Attendents didnt pay attention to you or the kids in the pool but talked to each other and let their friends jump in front of lines. Save Your Money!!!

Not anywhere near worth the price!!
By Kam, 2/22/08
We just got back from 4 day trip. Good: Bell boys, lifeguards and spa staff were excellent. Deluxe room kitchen was nice... Characters were very accommodating and friendly... lots of hugs and autographs Bad: Restaurants-bad food, horrible service, everything we ordered was messed up. We were turned away twice for seating because "a big group just came in and its gonna take a long time to get food"... yet they had empty tables... Inconsistecy with staff-Front desk overnight desk clerk lied to my husband and said he just sold the last children's tylenol and made my husband go out to walmart at 1am... the next morning the resort had plenty... the previous night another desk clerk had op ened the store for me to get something I needed... Rooms: decor and mattresses were tired... Maid service did not come to our room one day and came after 5pm the other. Sheets were rough. Water park: Water was very cold and full of chemicals... made 2 of my kids get rashes,

Twice a charm!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/07
We stayed here in April 2006 and 2007 and greatly enjoyed both stays. The room was large and clean and had a microwave and fridge which was handy to have. Our now five year old daughter LOVES the water park. It has something for everyone. The hotel is noisy in the evenings. You can hear hall noise as well as your neighbors. The food at the restaurant was so-so and overpriced. There are many family restaurants just down the road. We will definitely be back!

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/11/07
This place was so much fun for kids. Not only is it a water park, they have arts and crafts for kids and characters in the hotel. Its is a great trip for kids and for adults if you like water slides!!
