SUPER CLEAN !!!

Great place...Stella, Douglass and "9" are all awesome and took good care of me last week. I recommend this place to all. AC rooms are only 370 THB per night ($12 USD) and there's free wifi Enjoy!!!

Best place I've stayed in Thailand in all regards. By far the cleanest, this place is immaculate, you could eat off the floors. For sure the most friendly staff. Nine is amazingly helpful and knowledgeable in assisting with booking any and all kinds of treks and adventures. She also is great at finding you a fair price! Stella is full of energy and always in a great mood. She is the in house chef and cooks some of the best food I've ever had! Last but not least the price is right. I would recommend the Green Tulip to any traveler

The home away from home.

I had a great time staying for a week at Green Tulip House, Nine and Stella were so funny, and very helpful, we went on quite a few tours and had help with booking those tours, ordering tuk-tuks, and help with our washing. The place was unbelievably clean, and so light and spacious. It was not far from town, and the area has lots of character. I think I will be back this year, one year on from my last visit, and have recommended the Green Tulip to all of my friends that have mentioned they will travel to Thailand. Even though you may feel like a naughty teenager sneaking in past your curfew there was always someone ready with a smile and a yawn to let you in if you came back after the main door closed. Awesome! Thanks!

a pleasant surprise

i just walked into this place to have some food and it was excellent. After i told Stella, the owner of this place that i stayed in the worst place in Chaingmai(she knew the "Hotel"), she showed me around in the Green Tulip House.Awesome.. I moved in the next day and i enjoy every given day here. Great Service, friendly Staff and nice tidy Rooms Thanx

planning for stay again next year

We had a fantastic time, and stay, we relaxed, recharged our batteries, Extremely clean, very friendly staff. we felt like we were family,we will stay there again without doubt next year, It was best hostel we stayed at in Thailand . TY.. we booked a private tour thru Green Tulip this was the best discission we could have made, went to Chiang Rai, Burma, and all the tourist, and non tourists spots.. White Temple is a must, our Guide was brillant, no hassles, tour at our pace, private vehicle, no crambed tour buses, and we set the pace and what we wanted to do and see, Our guide, and his wife Qwong were fantastic, nothing was to hard, and he could speak english, so he knew what we wanted, we are going back next year to stay and do tours with them again, we had the best holiday, and learnt so much of the Thai culture from them..

Best place in all over Norththailand !!!

This place is really your home away from home. very well located in the old centre of chiang mai this GH offers everything: fantatstic food, superclean and spacious rooms, insider-information to almost everything you can do in and around chiang mai, and most of all the stuff !!! stella, nine and their crew are one of the warmest and friendliest people i've ever met ! if you ever plan to go to chiang mai, stay in this wonderful place and be a part of the family ;-)

First class guest house

Having travelled through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia, we can safely say that this was one of the best hotels we stayed in. It was spotless, great value for money and all the staff, particularly Nine and Stella couldn't do enough for us. Stella's cooking was brilliant and Nine arranged all the trips we wanted to go on- at very competitive prices too. We are 60+ travellers on our first Far East trip and if every place were like the Green Tulip, we'd think nothing about doing this on a regular basis. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any family and friends. Thank you Nine and Stella! Maggie & Tony
