Was going to the holliday inn to have a relaxing night have a few drinks and chill out. Had 3 plp staying 1 in a fold out bed,when folded out bed the sheets had not been cleaned and had no pillows for bed,rang to get changed took them about 45 mins to come up when we wanted to go to bed,the tv would not turn on so coudnt watch tv,only one roll of toilet paper for 1 night, plates dirty, i payed $344 for a room that wasnt clean! i would of preferred to stay at home!

....having stayed at a Holiday Inn recently in Melbourne, booked a 3 night stay at the Wellington hotel, and found that everything was pretty much spot on EXCEPT for the design of the wall between bathroom/bedroom. The wall is constructed of frosted glass, presumbaly to create a feeling of space/light in both rooms. While light & space IS created, the wall is extremely "see-through" , particularly looking into the bathroom from the bedroom (with the bathroom light ON) and certainly not "sound-proof". A guest relaxing on the bed has full view & sound of a person on the toilet (the toilet is situated adjacent to the wall). ALSO, if a guest went to the toilet during the night (and obviously turned on the toilet light), an invasive light was cast through the glass wall across the bed & the whole room. Very disturbing!! We are both 40/50ish, modern thinking, definitely NOT prudish, have been a "couple" for 3 years now, but felt that our privacy was invaded by the visual aspect of the room set-up. We thoroughly recommend this hotel IF YOU ARE STAYING ALONE!!!! (or practice voyeurism)
