North Cliff Hotel, Fort Bragg

Driving into Fort Bragg this hotels sand out, it is on the cliff at the mouth of the harbor. My husband and I decided to step in and check the rates, the staff was very helpful and at a great upbeat attitude. The room itself was a little outdates, but that does not take away from the comfort at all, and they do have flat screen TV's with Bkue Ray players, not that we carry blue rays with us, but it was nice to have that luxury. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the ships has they came in and went out. Over all it was a relaxing stay and we will stay here again.

Jerry: I don't understand, I made a reservation, do you have my reservation? Agent: Yes, we do, unfortunately we ran out of cars. Jerry: But the reservation keeps the car here. That's why you have the reservation. Agent: I know why we have reservations. Jerry: I don't think you do. If you did, I'd have a car. See, you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them. So goes our experience with the North Cliff. We reserved the hotel months ago for a wedding this past weekend. When we showed up at 2:00am, after a great wedding, we found out that they gave away our room. Apparently our credit card which we used to book the room was denied yesterday, they tried calling us (didn't leave a message), and then just gave away our room. We would have checked in pre-wedding, but the earliest you can check in is 4:00pm. No early check-in. If you want to ensure a hotel in Ft. Bragg, do not reserve a hotel room here. They will take your reservation, they just won't *hold* the reservation.

Most romantic get away we have had in a long time! We have been there twice now and loved every second of it. The service is awesome and the views and the rooms spectacular. Make sure you get the rooms with the spa and the fireplace!
