Haunted and Dirty, but cheap sleep.
By T.J., 02/12/09
We were coming back from Monterey two years ago and it was about 9pm when we coasted into Buelton. The Motel 6 wanted $99 per night, since it was Saturday, so we decided that we just needed a shower and a soft pillow. That was the only soft item we had. Room one is for people who have not booked ahead. It has a king size bed, TV and a fridge, but the bed is hard as a rock. The wall paper in the room was peeling off and the curtains were dirty. After going to Pea Soup Anderson's (the original), we returned to our "room". During the night the toilet kept flushing by itself. When I got up to use the restroom, my wife said she felt as if someone else laid down next to her and was hugging her. At that moment i grabbed my camera and took two quick shots of the room. The first was filled with ORBS and their was a mist by my wife on the bed, the second was clear! We checked out in the morning and as we turned in the key the desk clerk asked, "Did you sleep ok?" And acted surprised that we stayed the whole night. Never again, unless I become a member of TAPS....

Did not like here.... I was in room 1, NO HEATING, was given a electric heater, the room was always cold, the temperture in that room all day in the winter was 30 deg., I was better sleeping in the car, mattresses are 50 years old w/ plywood between the mattresses to stiffing up them. Windows leak air in to the room, NO PHONE IN THE ROOM,the sheet I washed my self. If you do not believe me in this review, then go there your self to see.

Nice place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/08/07
This is a nice place to stay on your travels through the Santa Barbara area. The location is convenient off Highway 101. If you need a place to refresh and sleep, this is a place to stay. Room have basic accommodations except there is no telephone. There is no swimming pool. Restaurants, grocery and drug stores are nearby.
