A #1 Volcano Hapu'u Fern Cottage, Volcano

Hapu'u Fern cottage is a place I absolutely recommend! It has a calming ability. I don't know if it's that the air seems fresher or maybe the birds chirping, or the hawaiian music available on CD. It could be that the hot tub is soothing with a glass of wine underneath the rain forest atmosphere. Or maybe the comfort of the bed with the amazing thread count in the linens. Whatever it is, I would not stay in any other location in Volcano. I miss it just typing this! And the owners were FABULOUS to us to top it all off! Regards, the Garza's

This was a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend for my husband and I. It was very easy to find and as we arrived we were impressed at how well taken cared of the landscaping was. When we met the owners they were very nice and easy going as if we new eachother for a long time, it was like visiting a relative, they are very nice people. As we did the walk through we were so impressed on the decor of the cottage and cleanliness. The whole experience had not only a tropical flair to it but that local style feeling of warmth and home. The hot tub and fire place were added features to our romantic and relaxing weekend. During the day we went for a ride and found that everything was so conveniently in close distance. It didn't take very long to get to the mall and stores. Also, the ride to the Volcano's National Park was pleasantly quick. We would recommend this cottage to all of our family and friends. We will be back again!
