Great People & Will Visit Again
I loved the people at the Key Lime Sailing Club. My wife and I did not have a sailing License, so the free boat was irrelevant unless we took the course given there at the lodge. A little too expensive to add to our week long trip. The Club is on the Bay side of the Keys, so keep that in mind. The cottages were clean and adequate. Much nicer than staying in some chain hotel. The night sail with all the people staying was beautiful. The had kayaks and smaller boats my wife and I took out over to the mangroves and did some fishing. They supplied everything we needed besides bait, which we boat right next door. Everyone that works there is wonderful. We both totally fell in love with all of them. We arrived there at about 2 or 3 am and they had us all set up, and still waiting on us. All the boats are serviced regularly, and well maintained. My wife and I have four children which we did not bring for our "getaway" vacation, so we are not extremely wealthy. With that being said I think all the hotels and resorts in the Keys are over priced, but I loved having our own cottage and place to call "home" while we were there. We will be visiting them again.
