While on a trip to Olympia in January, I stayed one evening at Corporate House Tacoma and it was a “well-needed” break from my routine stay at the Marriott or Sheraton. With this my first visit, I was anxious to arrive and experience what I found on their website. They have done an absolute incredible job with the interior (and exterior), resulting in a very inviting and comforting environment. Their website has pictures of the interior and exterior. www.corporatehousetacoma.com One of the best and unique features of this place is its privacy. As a guest at CHT, the place is yours with all the amenities to ensure a relaxing (or even productive) nights stay. There are no other guests on-site to share amenities or services – it’s all yours. There is a full kitchen, television w/cable & DVD player, fireplace, martini bar (yeah!) and office/library with complimentary wireless internet, fax, shredder, printer and local phone service. During my stay, I spent my evening in front of the fire watching the Fiesta Bowl while working on my laptop – and a cocktail. For those serious workaholics, the office has a huge desk and workspace that is well-lit and suitable for any executive. I finally retired to the master bedroom upstairs and had a wonderful night’s sleep. My stay at CHT was unlike any place I have ever stayed before. This place is perfect for the professional (and companion) who is tired of the same-old, standard night’s stay at the chain hotel. I highly recommend giving this place a try over your typical hotel chain. It was like I never left home.
