Su Nido Inn, Ojai

My wife and I invited her brother to visit Ojai with us. We stayed at Su Nido Inn. Loved it! Very modern rooms with high ceilings and tile floors. We stayed in Condor with Starling adjoining. Fireplace and kitchen. Highly recommend this conveniently located inn. No spa facilites were the only drawback.

Spending the weekend at the Su Nido Inn was the most relaxing experience I have had. The Heron Suite was wonderful; comfortable bed, mini kitchen, beautiful bathroom and cozy living room with a fireplace. The outdoor private hot tub was fantastic. We spent an evening under the stars and a sunrise over the mountains soaking in the hot tub. The inn keeper Michael was sure all of our needs were met. The short walk to town was a perfect location; the park, shops and resturants were just a few short steps away. We explored the area and discovered Meditation Mountain and local orange groves. It was a trip of a life time and we hope to repeat the experience at Su Nido again.

Out from the lions roar of Los Angeles, my girlfriend and I found ourselves rooted softly in a place so beautiful, so filled with wonder and stillness that we were moved to silence. Sitting out on our private patio in the Su Nido Dove suite, sipping wine and breathing softly, I noticed this strange feeling that I was not accustomed to. Contentment. I had everything I needed. My gorgeous love, a perfect suite, an amazing book and the pink sky fading softly into night above me. I was quiet. Breathing in the moment. This place is extraordinary, pungent with magic and alive with community. Never have I been treated so kindly, with such care, as I was by Michael and Sherrie. We will return. Again and again.

We had a wonderful time at the Su Nido Inn and are looking forward to returning. The Cardinal suite was well laid out. We found it very relaxing and since were going to the Ojai Music Festival at the Libbey Bowl, Su Nido Inn was in a perfect location so that we could park our car and spend the three days without having to drive anywhere, truly a joy in its self. The court yard with its fountain is perfect - very relaxing well laid out with the planters, chairs and tables - and if the sun was too hot in the court yard there is the porch on the other side of our room with shade, a table and chairs - excellent for siting and watching the world go by. All in all most enjoyable environment and the staff is very attentive a real plus.

Escape from the ordinary...an oasis experience. Phrases from the Su Nido Inn's website are understatements. I found the Su Nido to be more than the descriptions offered on the website....from the extremely attentive staff to the luxurious surrounding...my every need was anticipated. Every minute of my stay was perfect. The location is exceptional, just a few blocks from shopping and dining, yet tucked away enough to offer a courtyard atmosphere that beckons you to sit and let the hours drift away. I recommend it to anyone looking for much more than an escape from the ordinary. We are looking forward to future visits.

Since we forgot to write in the guest book, I'm glad to have this opportunity to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Su Nido Inn. The Condor Suite/Starling Room were perfect for us, as we were with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. The suite/room were comfortable and well-appointed, and we really appreciated having the refrigerator for the baby's food. We were delighted with your location. It was such a pleasure to be able to stroll the two blocks to restaurants, shopping and the park instead of taking the car. That made it a relaxing stay. Ojai is an idyllic town in a spectacular setting, and the Su Nido Inn is the place to stay to take advantage of all that the area has to offer. If we ever have occasion to be in Ojai again we will stay at the Su Nido Inn. Thank you for your hospitality.

Su Nido Inn is excellent! We loved the location-close to shopping and outstanding restaurants. The Inn suite was clean with wonderful amenities: soft sheets and towels, a lovely shower and deep soaking tub, an espresso maching with an easy approach to making your own morning brew, private patios to enjoy, unlimited movies to "borrow", a fireplace, munchies, water and juice in a convenient refrigerator, an Innkeeper (Michael) who has many suggestions for places to eat or visit and finally a tranquil setting for "nesting" and calming the hectic pressures of our lives. We visited Ojai during the time the orange trees were blooming...wonderful! It reminded us of Orange County...back in the day! We truly loved our stay and relish the time we spent there. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Stayed in the Peacock suite. Very thoughtful design and finish touches. Pleasantly surprised with the experience. Exceeded our expectations. Only two blocks from the main street in Ojai Village. Definitely will stay here again.

Liked everything. The room was spacious, linens were high end and comfortable, the bed made for the best night of sleeping for me in a long time and the location was conveniently close to town and all of the wonderful shops and restuarants. I read the one review listed on this site and then I called to ask more questions...we made the reservations and I have to say, it was great and worth every penny. I even got a newspaper from the innkeeper...so do a little research since everything you read is not always true. We had a great dinner at Azu and a good lunch at Jersey Mikes (try their philly!) Ojai is a great place to getaway and relax...enjoy!
