Tiara Beach Resort Port Dickson, Pasir Panjang

The first impression when your reach Tiara Beach Resort is... it is HUGE. Compared to other resorts (this is not our first trip to Port Dickson), the resort has more space to walk around and play. The room and other facilities were pretty standard. We were out playing out the beach most of the day anyway, so it did not bothered much. Cleanliness around the resort was OK. At night we tried lunch at the resort. The price was alright and there is local selection too. However, at night we decided to try local delicacies outside the resort and found much better choices. Overall Tiara Beach Resort is a good place to stay. But to experience the best of Port Dickson, you may want to find activities outside the resort.

Since there were not too many reviews on this, I was a bit worried about how the hotel would be. After my stay there, I can say for the money I paid, it was worth the trip. Dont expect great furniture, clean walls and a huge bathroom. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and that was most important for us. . We got a good deal on the garden view room. There is a huge swimming pool, and an activity area for kids. They have built their own beach, the actual port dickson beach is a bit far away. Breakfast was ok, all in all it was a pleasant trip. I will be back

I am one of the member, i sign up this in the Matta Fair KL.The Room Rate for the members cheaper than you do online booking or pre booking with them...... So,if you want to go there, sign up their membership, it gives you the expectation of your holiday budget. The concept is brilliant...combining the room rates along with the facilities offered. Guests will be spoil with the swimming pool selection. To be fair, we paid RM298/night during peak season. If you enjoys water Park but don't like being charged separately for the ticket, you'd agree it's a best deal within 90KM of KL radius. Even the smallest apartment rooms ( the cheapest :D ).. Rooms are big. They are not well-maintained but acceptable. The water pressure for the shower is very small. Aircon is not cold, luckily the ceiling fans are powerful. The Breakfast BUFFET was great, we only paid RM75 for 6 of us then can get plenty of food and no need to take lunch after this. It is around 25 mins drive to the night market. Overall, we enjoy our stay there. We will return again to explore the resort. I definitely wont mind recommending this place providing your expectations are not too high.

I have been coming back to Tiara PD for few years because my children just love the place. It is crowded all the time with many extra occupants filling up the entire water park. This time around, there is a control with wristband and I personally feel its a good thing. yWe were given 6 wristbands for a family unit and I understand that they issue out complimentary 4 wristbands for studio unit. It comes standard with all hotels and resorts on the limit of occupants in the room. With this form of control by wristband, all those units with extra occupant will need to buy wristband to gain entry. To my opinion, this is a form of weeding out those who took advantage by sneaking in extra occupants. Well done! I am for a better control and Thanks. I will be back with my family again.

I see many complaints and dissatisfaction on the forum before I go over to get a place for holiday. Yes it is truth. The resort was dirty and the worst is the rude attitude of the security guard. It was a disappointment visit and I'm lucky that I didn't check in first. I requested to have a look around the resort before I make any decision. So I walked in at the entrance besides the reception and this entrance can be seen clearly from the guard booth. What surprise me is that the security came over after 10 minutes when I'm looking at the pool said me and my family go in like thieves!! They say we never registered at the booth. We didn't go to the booth as we thought it was the vehicles path and we have kids so we just walked through a pathway entrance nearby the security. We park our car in front of the security and reception. We asked them why they dun stop us to ask since they saw us walked in. They said we must go over and tell them. They follow behind us all the way treating us like thief. This is rude as I did ask the reception permission and they didn't ask us to registered anything. After all, I just feel lucky for not spending money on this dirty resort and bad attitude of the security. At a glance, i managed to get One of their name...ZAHARI....They should keep a word in their heart 'customer is always right' and must use a proper manner to talk. Not worth at all, so find other place to stay.

It is just excellent for kids. Both my daugthers are thrilled with the clowns and magic shows. We paid only RM220 for one night. Superb value.

Had a very bad experience at Tiara Beach Resort, first 'cos there was no beach and the resort is named as a Beach Resort, the rooms are extremely small and poorly managed, furnishing is very poor, bathrooms are even smaller, it should not be called as a resort first of all. Though the staff was helpful but the overall maintenance of the place was very poor. The water park is not worth visiting also. Pools are filthy. Most of the things do not work. Restaurants are average. It was overall very dull and not a place to be.

The hotle is nice,lobby,food,BIG POOL but the room is small.When I got to the lobby,I think the place is gonna be good but Im wrong.The room is soo small.

1. On the 1st day, Reception told us there is a baby basinet available. But when we called the housekeeper, a lady pickup and sound so rude and say No! 2. We've done our booking for a family suite, 4Adults and 2children. But we receive only 4 towels and So We ask for extra towel and was declined straight away. 3. We also ask for extra pillow and blanket since there was no baby basinet but still was declined straight away. 4. In our room D208, we found a wire sticking out inside the mini fridge itself. 5. Our family went for a swim and we went to the cafe in front the swimming pool. In our room there is a menu stated what kind of food they served at the cafe but when we went there and wanted to order food for our children, the staff said no food only CUP NOODLE AVAILABLE!!! we were shocked and we have no other choice but to let our children eat CUP NOODLE!!!! 6. My husband have to go all the way to cafe bistro to get some food for our family, Cafe bistro did put a menu there was a promotion for a burger but in horror shock when my husband would like to order the staff say THEY DON'T SELL FOOD BUT ONLY DRINKS!!! 7. So out of no choice our children is so hungry, wet and cold, we walk all the way to the restaurant to have a proper food. 8. We did complained to a manager, can't remember his name but he is an Indian, the same nite and we intend to leave that nite because its spoil our 1st day of our vacation. He did assured us that this will not happen again and he change our room near to the restaurant so that we don't have to walk all the way to get food. He also being nice by offering us a few bottles of mineral water for our baby milk. We did try to get at the gift shop but the staff told us that it is not available here but we saw there was a few boxes of mineral water and she told us that was not for sale. 9.The next morning we tried to forget everything and ready to go out shopping. I need an iron and the iron board to iron my family's clothes. So I called the housekeeper for one and they give me a simple answer say No they dont have iron and iron board. I called the reception counter and talk to the manager and he said that we do have iron and iron board. When I became so annoyed then thehousekeeper explained to me that some guest has not return it to them yet. I told them to call me once the guest return it but I waited for 2 hours without anybody updating me. Why is it so inconvinient!! When I called them again and then they said there is one. 10. We can't take anymore nonsense and we decided to leave on that day.

We purchased a voucher of RM160 at the recent Matta fair. It was such a mistake! The pool was filthy and the only entertainment was the slide, but only the little one was open for use, the big one was closed. The ladies sauna room did not work. We wanted to go for a foot massage but was told we had to make an appointment for it. We then decided to use the fish spa, where the worker told us that the price was RM35 instead of RM15 as stated on the poster. I suppose he was new but if we were not aware, we could have paid RM35. It was just so boring and there was just nothing one could do. Check in was at 3pm, check out was at 12pm. Horrible really! Lola.
