Tomlinson Inn, Mendon

STAY AWAY!! BIG RIP OFF & DISAPOINTMENT!! We made two reservations for this inn. Reservations were made online and I recieved an email confirmation. The day before we were leaving I tried 6 or so times to contact the individuals who run this place. In addition, I left messages on their answereing machine. To no avail no one ever called me back. Thus, I tried the next day several times while we were driving to Palmyra. The confirmation had no address of location and nothing but the 1-800 #. Essentially, we drove 5 hours hoping that these people who took our reservation would return our calls and get back to us so we would have a place to sleep for the night. Instead we got in Palmyra at 11PM with 5 kids in the car and no place to stay. The next day I finally got a hold of someone (I had to call them, they still weren't returning my calls). The man did not even offer so much as an apology or any type of compensation for our loss due to their inability to provide what they are selling. Our second reservaton is further down the road. I have contacted these people again talking with a women this time and voicing my dissapointment and concern with our reservation. She was very friendly but unable to help in the least bit. I was told that I would be contacted (SURPRISE, I haven't been). It has been a couple weeks now and I have called twice. I am wondering If one can even cancel an appt when you can never get a hold of anyone???...
