Summer Place Hotel, Baguio City

hrm students, do not go to this hotel for your tours, they do not have any good speaker for seminars supposedly done there. the rooms are okay but it is so far away from the main streets of baguio.

Our stay in Baguio was great we have a good time in this hotel. The room was very big and clean and price is reasonable because we got the 50% off promo rates.

What I like is there big rooms and amenities. Price is reasonable.

me and my frends have stayed on this hotel for 3 days and 2 nyts,.the room was spacious and really nice.they have cable tv,phone (although u have to pay p5 for their local calls, duh?does every hotels have dat?)they have big closets wherein u could fill out that with 5 persons kiddin'. the bathroom was nice although we got a problem on their heaters u couldnt mix hot to cold,at first it would warm then it gets so hot..i think they need to repair their knobs.. overall the hotel was good for those who seek silents from the busy streets of session rd. it was kinda far from the city hmm 15-20 mins cab ride..although i must admit their taxi fair at baguio was cheaper that here in manila..

The rooms were priced really great! The staff was very courteous and the place was clean. I enjoyed our time there..the food was so-so. The only thing I disliked was that I had some electrical problems in the room(sparks and smoke). They did not have a maintenance person available to fix it and wanted me to wait until the morning to have it fixed...I wanted to watch tv and refrigerate my water!! Since I was there for just the night, I asked to be moved into another room on the same floor, but they did not have any rooms available for the same rate I paid for. I ended up paying $500 pesos more for an upgrade, which was NOT an upgrade!!! I wished that they would have automatically given me the upgrade at no charge, since it was their problem, not mine! I had to move all my belongings in the middle of the night! P.S., there is no long distance phone services avaiable after a certain time so you'll have to purchase a calling card and use the public pay phone outside of the hotel!
