Harbour House, Niagara-on-The-Lake

My wife and I went to Harbour House for one of their "Babymoon" packages and it couldn't have been better. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. This was exactly what we needed before the baby comes! If you are looking for the best Niagara on the Lake has to offer, look no further than Harbour House hotel.

This hotel cannot be described with words, you have to be there to understand. It is charming and cozy as well as plush and luxurious, the staff are the most helpful and friendly people I have ever encountered at a hotel and the breakfast is delicious. Even better, there are all sorts of little 'pluses' you receive when there; complimentary wine and cheese each day, free in town shuttle service, free parking, free internet, breakfast is included with all rooms! We love it and will be back.

WOW! Great Service, Great Rooms, Amazing touches all around the hotel. Now I know why this hotel is so highly recommended by travellers on this site! From now on, the only place we will stay in Niagara on the Lake is the Harbour House Hotel.

My wife and I first read about this hotel on tripadvisor (sorry Yahoo travel!), where it is the highest rated hotel in Canada so we had to try it out. Now we know why it has been review so well. It is beautiful, clean, in a great location, it has the friendliest staff we have ever encountered, the food is great, there is a complimentary shuttle service to any restaurant in Niagara on the Lake and the beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in (unfortunately, including our own!) From now on, if we are going to Niagara on the Lake, we are staying at the Harbour House hotel.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a quick getaway and headed to Niagara on the Lake. We love this town and have stayed there several times. We decided to stay at Harbour House because of the incredible comments that we have read on this site and on other sites. We were not disappointed. First of all, I can't say enough about the staff and how outgoing and caring they are. They couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the bedrooms are so comfortable that you never want to leave the room! Breakfast is also a super treat. Also enjoyed a fabulous spa service at their sister hotel. Can't wait to return.

Truthfully, I've always been a bit of a romantic, trying to find the perfect place that made me feel like I was the lead in a romantic comedy. I've found that place - I've never experienced such friendly and helpful staff anywhere (and I've been MANY places) - one night my boyfriend and I were on our way out for dinner and one of the staff just offered to drive us to the restaurant! He dropped us off in the hotel van, and just said "Ring when you're ready to come home!" Home! Instead, we walked back through the pretty town, but I indeed felt like I had found my fairy-tale place. Highly recommended.

My wife and I heard about Harbour House through other travel review sites who raved about the property and now I know why! The hotel is spectacular! The next time we are in Niagara, this will be the only place we stay.

WOW! What an amazing place. The staff are just as charming as the amazing hotel. It must be called Harbour House because it is meant to feel like a home away from home(I only wish my home was this nice!), and it does just that. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the food is delicious and as mentioned, the service is unparalleled. It sits right on the harbour and you can hear the masts swaying during the night. Perfection. We always travel to get some much needed relaxation but rarely find it. Well, I can finally say 'Mission accomplished'! Thank you Harbour House, we will be back as soon as possible. T&J Miller Ohio

My wife and I went to Harbour House for a last minute getaway from the kids and we had an amazing time! The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, the breakfast is delicious, the complimentary shuttle to and from any restaurant in Niagar on the Lake is a great touch if you want to have a drink or two while out. One of the great things about the hotel is that once you are there, everything is included. What I mean by that is we have been to so many hotels that charge you for everything once you are there. Harbour House in contrast includes; bottled water, internet, DVD's, CD's, games and books library, in-house wine and cheese tastings everyday and breakfast with every stay. It was great to know that the price we paid was the price we paid. Most of all, the staff are AMAZING!! It sounds strange, but I think they actually like going to work every day! In fairness, if I worked at Harbour House and got to deal with satisfied customers every day, I would probably like working there to:)

this is a gorgeous hotel. It feels more like a home away from home than it does a hotel. My wife and I went for a little romantic getaway and were treated like royalty every minute we were there. They always say that a boutique hotel can provide service unlike any other place because they are just small enough not to miss any of the details and Harbour House has proved them true! Great stay, we will be back.
