Mirage Hotel, Lahore

I traveled to Lahore on 12th Jan 2012 and had a stop at MIRAGE LAHORE. I am writing this to convey my Thanks to the entire management of MIRAGE Lahore to make my stay a pleasant one. I would especially like to mention Mr. Syed Naeem Akhter to did my booking and convinced me that i will really enjoy the services of Mirage Lahore and in deed i really had a good service up there. Secondly i would like to mention the name of pick up / drop driver Mr. Rizwan who picked me and dropped me to the airport and guided me the ways in Lahore and briefed me about the hotel well. reasonable for the rate I stayed for a longer period at the hotel and got best deal down to 2200 PKR via hrs ... For shorter stays it was a little higher, but still worth the amount. The staff at the reception desk is friendly (more friendly than at the desk of PC hotel) I had most of the time good internet connection via wireless (e.g. Sunfort hotel had always a problem and a guy came to your room to give you a fix IP address, but then asking for some extra ...) Location is very interesting, since there are many restaurants and markets in walking distance. Many TukTuk drivers do not know the way to the hotel, but if you say Arnakali Food Street, they will find it. To assure good service and a smile, 100 PKR for the room mate and 100 PKR for the breakfast waiter is efficient, and even addint this it is best deal for your money, compared to Sunfort (near Liberty market) and PC, where I also stayed before..

Being Assistant Professor, I think this is a very convenient place to stay if you have to attend meetings/workshops/lectures or any other work at Punjab University.. Very affordable and calm place to me.. but there is a suggestion, Writing table should be available in every type of room..

Enjoyed hospitality and assisatnce extended to us during our stay at Mirage. The Management & Staff are always willing to help, and provide comfort. Special thanks to Dr.Tariq for his time and efforts for providing excellant service. A nice, quite, clean place to saty in lahore.

I am planning to visit Lahore vary soon and just want know if this Hotel allows female accompany to stay with us at night? The last time i stayed at a very expensive hotel in Lahore and the hotel staff did not allow me to have female accompany, which i find to be redeculus dispite pay such big amount of mony.

I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a better hotel in Lahore for the money. The building is centrally located, immaculate and secure. Mr. Tariq Malik, the owner, continues to renovate and improve the hotel despite the economic downturn. The rooms have wireless internet, hot water, AC, new wooden floors, freshly painted walls and satellite TV. Moreover, the hotel offers 24-hour room service, along with laundry and car services. I found that the staff will attempt to satisfy any request within reason, including running out to purchase cigarettes for guests busy working in their rooms. Breakfast is included and the food in the restaurant is very good, particularly the traditional Pakistani dishes. The hotel is a family-run businesses. I found Tariq and his two sons, Farhan and Rehan, are more than happy to assist their guests in any way they can. Mr. Malik is a former urban planner and university professor who is eager to share his knowledge about the history and architecture in Lahore. One evening Tariq gave me a free tour of the walled city. Another time he drove me around Lahore at no charge detailing the stories of some of the historic buildings and sites. (Tariq recently purchased a series of paintings from a local artist depicting buildings from around Lahore that are now displayed throughout the hotel.) Tariq, who splits his time between Lahore and Canada, is also a licensed golf pro in Toronto. He belongs to every golf club in Lahore and if you're lucky he'll take you out on the links one day when he's around. I have stayed at the Mirage Hotel for a total of four months while traveling to Lahore during the past year and I have never been disappointed. I now look forward to my trips to the city because I have been fortunate to make many friends there and the Mirage feels more like a very large and busy private household rather than a hotel.

Im a regular visitor at the hotel and the major excitement about it is the excellent customer service. The staff and the management is very flexible and adapts well to the changing needs of the customers and it cannot be emphasized more that customer service is something that is lacking in most other local hotels but Mirage differentiates itself through top service and makes its customers feel at home...The location is central and the major excitement is the food street close by and the monumental sites that are just minutes away from the hotel...i would highly recommend this hotel for those of you inspired to experience the true colors of Lahore...
