Stone Gate Inn, Orillia

Hi Fellow Travelers My partner and I travel a lot. This year alone, we have been to booth coasts in Canada and to the most Southern parts of the USA,stayed at some of the best hotels but I have to say none of them was so friendly as this hotel. We recently had a Christmas party to attend in Orillia and we chose Stone Gate Inn because a friend recomended it and we were made to feel at home from the moment we intered the door and they could not do enough for us. We arrived on a Friday night to a warm welcome from a nice young gentleman on the front dest named Christian and we enjoyed hot and cold hours d'houvres in the lounge while we had a cocktail and relaxed. In the morning we enjoyed a exceptionaly nice continental breakfast in the lounge and met the general manager "Maureen" who took the time to stop and chat with us for a few minutes, it was so nice and breakfast was included in the room price. The room we had was a two room suite with a living room,bed room and kitchen with a full frig stocked with bottled water and fresh cream for our in room coffee. I can not remeber the exact price we paid but I believe it was in the 149.00 range which was a great deal for what we got. I understand they have less expensive rooms We will return.Thanks Stone Gate Inn for a great stay
