Cozy, But not For Children
By Fadi Nazzal, 12/23/10
The cabin is really not made for small children. We vacationed in Big Bear with our three daughters (4.5, 2, 2 yrs old). We had a problem with the heating in the cabin as the two bedrooms had no heating vents. We had to keep the doors open at night to get heat into the room. We prepaid for four nights but left after only two nights because the sleep at night was not comfortable. The owner did offer up some portable heating units but not knowing the safety rating, we declined the offer. The owner did not give us any credits although we told her that we were leaving teh cabin early. I guess when you pre-pay, the biggest challenges you have is that there is no recourse for getting refunds. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail us. Thanks,

A COZY CABIN WITH A TOUCH OF MY OWN HOME-
By juan, 12/30/10
First let me respond to the review left here by another Abigails cabin user. I visited the same cabin the week before and me and my family had a great time. I have 2 kids ages 12 and 4 and they loved the cabin, they actually wanted to stay longer! the cabin is cozy and comfortable! all you have to do is turn up the heater and fire up the fireplace and its gets warm, mind you that its Big Bear and it is winter time! We spent our time watching movies, baking cookies and hitting the slopes!.. We where a bit dissapointed that there was no snow in our cabin, but thats mother nature for ya!.. We will surely be coming back to Abigails cabin to enjoy another great stay.
