Tubod Flowing Waters Resort, Cebu

I too received documents from a patron of this hotel. I visited the hotel last year and I never wanted to return to it for I also was led to believe it was a resort but in fact is a low quality inn. I am making my review now in light of being reminded of the hotel. The letters I received shows an absolute mishandling by Tubod management of a customer. No company should ever offer a refund and ask for his bank account number and then continue lying about depositing into his bank account for over a year. This is a hotel that is deserving of no future business and accordingly, I've been circulating his letter with my other colleagues in the travel business.

My brother called the resort and was told the resort was fully booked? I really like to go there due to nice reviews by my expat friends from US.

I received an unsolicited fax that involves a former patron who got lied to by the management of Tubod Flowing Waters. Before going on, I will state that I am a dual Filipino citizen, living in the United States and went to the “resort” hotel back in Oct 2008. I was underwhelmed as it wasn't a resort in any stretch of the imagination. I am saddened by how fellow Filipinos exaggerate in order to manipulate and am especially saddened by the immature behavior by Tubod Flowing Waters displayed in the documents before me. I didn't think of informing any of my clients of not going to that hotel but after what I just received I am compelled to tell them all to avoid the place. There are some good Filipino people but there are also some very bad ones and in wanting people throughout the world to have a good experience in the Philippines, I have blacklisted Tubod Flowing Waters.

One of a kind resort that is appealing to both young and old. It is very much a family resort where everyone can enjoy from pool slides, zorbing, picture taking, basketball, billiard etc... The room were really nice and cheap.

Would recommend such place to US expats and tourists especially with Filipina wife. I was able to bring the entire family of my wife , does not cost a lot of money to have a good time. Just 35 minutes from Cebu, saw a lot of beautiful Filipinas, WOW.

I was able to bring my friend from Australia to TUBOD and was impressed with the service and place. In Australia, they too have a lot of beaches but not spring resorts, in most cases it is also too cold to swim in spring water in Australia. But here in tubod, the spring just compliments the humid weather in Cebu. I love this place in Cebu, a must see and visit place.

I am a missionary assigned in Cebu and together with my fellow missionaries we visited this resort Tubod resort. It was very affordable, we just paid $2 for each person. A lot cheaper than paying the toll fee in Brooklyn bridge NY. We had a great time in fellowship. Across the resort , a park is also being developed. It was a nice experience indeed.

Besides there being some problems with the hotel, the major problem is how management behaves. I was offered a refund but after nine months, I realized it was merely a lie. It no longer matters what was wrong about the stay such as water not being available to take a shower, as the LIE by management supersedes anything else.

I am confused about such resort in Cebu called tubod. It is like a self-service resort although it is not expensive. I am on my own, I do not have to give tips, I can bring my own food and cook it .The place is like a picnic park, wherein you can bring your things, not so strict, you just have to pay minimal like $2 entrance. They also have a bird cage,with different birds, snakes, monkeys. Is this a picnic park like in the US? I like the place especially the spring pools. Weird resort I guess in the asian way but very commendable.

U had a very good experience in staying in this value for money resort with my family in Cebu. It was not expensive as to repel locals and very clean and presentable to tourists as well , entrance was so cheap like $2 per person and got to ride that very big hamster ball $1 only. Neat place to stay, highly recommended to tourists when in Cebu.
