Villa Mukinja, Plitvicka Jezera

M'y family and I have just spent 2 nights in a family room which was small,had no air-conditioning and the bathroom smelt like a urinal.The evening meal was good the breakfast was poor. Overpriced is putting it politely. Wine was offered to us at €25 a bottle,?

I have read all the reviews for this cottage, and to be honest I don't know where they have been but it wasn't at this cottage. We are seasoned travellers and travel about 3 months a year. We have been to alot of bed and breakfasts and this would be at the bottom of our list. Firstly upon arrival we noticed that all the laundry was hung out the back, and for a moment thought this couldn't be the place. Upon seeing our modest room (no fans or air conditioning here), it was not clean and had dead flys in the bathroom. The great dinner that everyone claims is fantastic was a variety of pan fried meat, most of it too tough to eat. The salad and cheese to begin with was good. The two people that run it are nice and try to be accomodating. We usually don't complain but this is fair below normal standards. We did check out some of the local motels and they had far better accomodation. All of this for 140 Euros (about 200 U.S.) for two for one night is very high, and overpriced.
