this is definitely the worst hotel i've ever been to.
1. almost all of the staff have no idea what the word customer service means...the receptionist was very rude to us when we arrived at the hotel...waiters r extremely slow during breakfast
2. let's talk about breakfast...u only had beans and hot dogs for breakfast...and butter and jam....that's it
to add to that....if u found beans available, u wouldn't find bread and vice versa....if u found both then u won't find plates....
similarly to the butter and jam....and if u found both of them then u won't find toast!!!!!!
3. rooms r ok but not clean...towels smell....no shower curtains so it's as if u showered in the entire bathroom and not the tub
4. it's not really a beach....looks more like a lake
to cut a long story short...DON'T GO THERE
I don't think there was anything to dislike about the place. It was just perfect. My bf took me there for valentine's this year. He booked a yatch, and we took our own bbq grill with us n bbq'd all night.
The idea of having your own yatch in the middle of stagnant water is marvellous.
We even had them deliver a gallon of petrol for our car coz we ran out of fuel coz of all the excitement :) lol
I spend a lot of time in the Middle East and during my last visit I stayed at the Palama Beach and found it to be one of the best hotels I have ever been to. It was clean and the customer service was hands above the rest I’ve been to. The beach front rooms are awesome. I couldn’t get over how clean everything was. The minimart and new restaurant were very convenient for relaxing. The family fun center was great also. They have bowling and pool and video games. I had no reason to leave the hotel grounds for three days. Unlike every other hotel I’ve ever been to the room service didn’t take 30 to 45 min. I think the most I ever waited was 20 min and less then that for my coffee in the morning. I really think anyone that wants to relax and enjoy some old fashion family time should stay here. It is advisable for those who wants a peace and quiet moments..
lovers will definitely enjoy the calmness of the beach and the serenity of the place.
i just hope the jaccuzi will work for our next visi and Spa should be added to the ammenities for a true relaxation.
Everything is nice except the swimmimg pool. It's mixed and open.Good to have a separate swimmimg pool for families.Another Idea, If there are 2 or 3 swimmimg pools are closed and covered, which can be rented separetely for each family for a few hours. It can attract more families to come and enjoy every weekend to feel free ( children & parents)as we have lack of family swimmimg pools here in UAE.
