Riad Mandalay, Marrakesh

I stayed here for three nights with two friends at the end of April. The welcome was friendly by the owners, everything we asked for was arranged and we were made to feel at home. It has six bedrooms - ours was beautifully styled. We had a steam bath and jacuzzi whilst we were there - I could have easily stayed at the Mandalay for the whole time and not venture outside but it would have been a shame to miss Marakech! The only downside was walking through the meat market to get to the main road but there is probably an alternative route so don't let that put you off. It was great to get back to this oasis after a day sightseeing and walking through the souks.
