Silvey's Motel, West Sacramento

I needed a less expensive room to rent by the week which had cooking facilities while searching for an apt. Silvey's gave me all I needed and more. The family who run the motel are respectful and helpful. The room was very large, had an excellent double bed plus a chest, small table and a desk. It had a small walk-in closet and a very decent kitchen with small stove, full-size older refrigerator, counters and sink plus more than adequate cupboards for a motel. The room and exterior were in very clean condition. I felt the staff provided security and safety - and know they gave me information on locating places I needed or wanted to go to anytime I asked. The only drawback was the by-minute charge for phone usage. But it was half of the cost for a smaller room without any food prep possibilities at Motel 6 by the week.
