DONT EVER STAY HERE EVER

I booked a room at this bed and breakfast to attend a wedding in town. When I return from the wedding festivities later in the evening to retire, the front door was locked. The key that I was provided with did not open the door. I was NOT able to enter the inn nor get a hold of the owner. I was very concerned because i was by myself and all of my stuff was already in my room. During the time that i was trying to get inside, a man who lived there apparently , came home from work that very moment and said the front door hasn't had a key in years and there was no way we were getting in. Thankfully I had other friends staying at the other Inn that was two blocks away.
The following morning, i went back to the bed and breakfast to discuss the incident with the owner. The owner replied by telling me that nobody should of locked the door and that she doesn't have a key for it. She continued to tell me it wasn't her fault and she was not giving me any of my money back. She became increasingly hostile as I explained that i understood but i would still like to be credited for a room that i was unable to sleep in. After about a half hour of confrontation, we verbally agreed that she would credit me $30, even though that was no where near what i paid. It has now been over three weeks and the money still has not been credited. I have called the owner, Louis, twice, been hung up on twice, and had been spoken to aggressively with profanities. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place. I have been taken advantage of and treated horribly as a customer. Side note: The place has a very strong urine smell in the stairwell from her dog..but it's OK.. she puts weewee pads down on top of where her dog urinates.... ew
