Great Alternative

Very nice view, with a very large room, comfortable deck overlooking a nice harbor. The woman that runs the place is very kind and her muffins are incredible. Sure the place could use some updating and probably isn't the ideal set-up for honeymoon, but if you are looking for a place with a great location, view, space, and very friendly owners, this is it. Also, the rate is very attractive. The one downside is that there are quite of few stairs you need to climb to get to the room. Not a big deal, but older guests should be aware.

Not bad for the price

The room we stayed in needed updating, but it was good enough for what we needed. The bathroom situation is OK as long as the guests in the room next to you don't use it all the time and are quiet and clean. I'd stay there again because the price is reasonable and the view is nice on a clear day. The elderly couple who run it seem to try their best to accomodate.
