I will never stay at a Fairfield Inn again!
I was a guest here for my bestfriends wedding. I left a diamond ring, given to me by my grandmother, accidentally on the night stand in the room when rushing out in the morning. I realized this on my way home and called the hotel. They said they would "look into it" for me and be in touch. Half an hour passed and I had heard nothing so I called the hotel back. I was told they would look into it, again, and was placed on hold. Im guessing that my first call was not taken very seriously. After being on hold, I was told they would know in about 5 minutes if my ring was there and would call me back. Fifteen minutes later when I still had not heard from them, once again I called the hotel back. They informed me the room had already been cleaned and no diamond ring was found. I am very upset about how this was handled. I emailed the Fairfield Inn and the Marriot about my terrible experience and neither of them felt the need to get in touch wtih me. I am sad to say that I believe my ring was stolen by someone who works there. I will never again be a guest at ANY Fairfield Inn or Marriot Hotel. If you stay here, make sure to lock your valuables in the safe!
