The Mangrove Resort Hotel, Broome

The facilities/services and rooms range between excellent and poor, the hotel has an ideal setting with fantastic views over Roebuck Bay and is only a short and pleasant walk into town. The "front of house" staff are friendly and helpful and with the Kiwi chef the food is excellent. The downsides are ageing uncleaned rooms and communial areas, lack of response to guests requests to have repairs/ maintenance issues resolved, dirty and very cold pools yet well or reasonably maintained gardens. We did not let the negatives spoil our stay! but do not think we would return until the owners allow the management team to spend some more much need cash on soiled furnishings decore etc..
