My family stayed in this hotel for 4 nights last week and the staff seemed very friendly. However, when we wanted to eat dinner at two of the restaurants at the hotel we were told that we couldn't go in because we had two small children. My kids are 4 and 7 years old. We were very displeased with such rules. One was an Italian restaurant and the other was a steak restaurant.
I spoke with the manager on duty the next morning and he called my husband over the phone told him that these are the rules of the restaurants at this marriot. He then said that we eat at the other three restrants.
One of the restaurants, Roy's country Kitchen had terrible foods. My son ordered a spaghetti and it tasted like it was right out a can and my Jumbalaya Rice was not only undercooked but it tasted like no Jumbalaya I've ever tasted. It was dreadful. My husband's food was just awful. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
In addition, kids under 16 weren't allowed in their jacuzzi by the pool(although they could swim in the pool?!). Locker rooms and the showers were dirty and smelly!!
I was very disappointed with how dusty the room was even right after I saw the cleaning crew leaving my room. It didn't look like they did any dusting or vacumming as I saw all the dust and the food crumbs on the carpet. Who knows if their vacume cleaner even worked properly!
I would not go back to this hotel again.
