Del Mar Motel, Port Isabel

I went to this motel after looking around all night, because I was coming in from Austin,Tx for a vacation seeking a unexpensive hotel/motel. We stayed when the Motel was fairly new, and so the rate was $30 a night, a VERY good deal for a motel in Port Isabel. The room was very comfortable, we had a full kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. The location was very close to the beach, considering the amount of money we paid, usually a thirty dollar motel is farther away from the beach. I recommend this motel if you want to stay at a place nearby the beach, and at a convenient location, near Wal-Mart, H-E-B, Whataburger,etc. There's only one thing I can say That I really didn't like, Pets are not allowed.
