Was there for a large convention. Every consideration was made to make our stay a true pleasure in a beautiful, relaxing setting. Great banquet service and meals....our room was so beautifully appointed. I will definitely go back

Will not go back - avoid this Hyatt.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/12/09
Reserved a King Size Mtn. View Room two months in advance of our stay for an annual conference - eended up in a two double room overlooking a construction site with a wonderful view of the smog over south denver. So much for mountains. Final straw was a bar waitress that stiffed us for $5.00 on a $10.00 bar tab. When I asked the bar manager about it, he basically called me a liar, until I pointed out the two witnesses at my table that saw the entire chain of events. He then remitted the $5.00 begrudgingly. We left the conference early and checked out. We will not go back, in fact, in April, when we have our regional conference, I will tell all 350 attendees to avoid this Hyatt at all costs.

Best hotel I have been at in 3 years
By Gregory T M, 08/06/08
This hotel and location was best suited for my trip to Denver. The 24 hours exercise room, indoor pool, and outside hot tub with a fantastic view of the mountains was worth breathtaking.

Wonderful until I left
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/28/08
I had a very nice experience at the Hyatt regency. The people were nice, the room was adequate and the facilites were what you would expect from a nice hotel. My problem came after checkout. It is clear on check-in that your credit/debit card will be billed an extra $100 to cover incidentals. It is also clear that the hotel will release those funds once you check out. When I noticed a day later that my account had not been credited the money I called the hotel. They informed me that they release the money immediately but that most banks take 3-5 business days to refund the money. I simply suggested that they add that to the information at check in. To let people know it could take a few days. So that they dont count on using that money for things like feeding their children, getting to work, or eating lunch. The first response i got was that at check in they inform you of the hold. I agreed that it was listed, but that i thought somehting more should be done. The response was...."(sigh), well sir, i will note your request".... So keep in mind two things. If you need your money the week after your stay, use a credit card and not a debit card. If you have a suggestion, don't bother because that is the way it'll be treated, like a bother...

Best Hotel in Denver!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/06
By far the best hotel in Denver with a sosphicated, clean, crisp, modern-contemporary look to the Hotel with 1,100 rooms. Flat screen TVs in the room, a wonderful 27 floor bar overlooking the Rocky Mountain and the best fitness HOTEL gym I have ever seen with Sauna, hot tub and pool. If you are here for business or pleasure, perfect location and just a block from the free 16th Street Mall ride where shopping and restaurant are located. Also saw the new Real World house Denver located on 19th and Market a 15 minute walk from the Hotel. Excellent Hotel with Great Mountain views!
