Knights Inn Old Saybrook, Old Saybrook

This place has bed bugs, among other issues. STAY AWAY. I attended a wedding in nearby Old Lyme and was given this hotel as an option from the wedding party. Where to start! First I arrived paid for my room and given a key. Upon opening the specific room I discovered another couple in the room. They were just as shocked as I was and told me that the front desk had sent them to that room no more than 5 minutes before I busted in. Once I got my actual room, I opened the door to find an overwhelming smell of mildew and cigarettes (I had requested non-smoking). It didn't even look clean. I only stayed one night but when I arrived back home I woke up the next morning to find little red bites all over my body. I have now had to call an exterminator to rid bed bugs from my previously clean, pest free apartment. I know it's cheap but find somewhere else to stay.
