West End Hotel, Culver City

My wife and I stayed here for 4 months. We had a great experience. Nobody would walk into our room unless we told them to. The maid was spectacular and was very friendly and would help us in any way she could. The manager Kam never yelled any obscenities at us, in fact he would even come and knock on the door to tell us that our car was parked illegally for street cleaning day so that we would not get a ticket. He even held a package for two months after we had moved, and called to tell us when it arrived. If that is not great customer service, than I don't know what to tell ya. The prices are good and the location is wonderful. It is in beautiful Downtown Culver City, with many restaurants and shopping right nearby. The farmer's market is right down the street every Tuesday. I would stay here again if I needed a residential hotel.

Manager called Kam will scream obscenities at you! Totally unprofessional! Housekeeping is nice. Doesn't feel 100% safe, however. Got rid of the roaches, it seems. Oy vey. But these people freaked when I brought my boyfriend to stay with me! Very scary place!

It is definitely a unique living environment and not for everyone. After being there a week or so people began to warm up to us and you can tell there is a family feel to the place. The Maid service was great and they do try to accomodate you if you are respectful. My only complaint is the roaches. Enough said.
