Floral Inn, Monterey Park

We stayed at the Com-On Inn only one night, and it was pretty scary. We had a very large room, but there was graffiti all over the walls, the 19" t.v. didn't work well, and the room was not clean. The chairs were very dirty, and the tables were sticky. The carpets were filthy, and the phone had pink slime on it! There were even phone numbers carved into the headboard of the bed. There was a security guard roaming the parking lot which made me feel more at ease, but also made me wonder why they need extra security there. I woke up in the morning to the sound of sirens, looked out the window, and saw 4 cops stopped out in front of the motel. I do need to mention that they were switching out some of the old beds for new ones, and the room we were in seemed to have one of the new ones. They also have all the free cup of soup you want! I still would not choose to stay there again.
